By The Blaze Of A Warm Fire Come On In And Sit A Spell

I have absolutely no clue what it means to "sit a spell". I think I heard that from watching a few ancient episodes of the Beverly Hillbillies. That's where I also learned about the cement pond. However, I digress, with the weather turning cooler in my part of the country, I turn to the fireplace for warmth when I come back inside. I'm one of those people who can sit and stare into the fire and watch it for hours. (Yea, I know I need to get out more.) I promise, I'm not an arsonist but I am fascinated with the flames.

I did get out this past weekend and my activity was sort of related to flames. I visited Mojo's in Tulsa, OK and while there watched one of my all-time favorite male dancers, Blaze. Yes, he's sexy. Yes, he can dance. Yes, he can tear up the stripper pole. And believe me, I like all that. But what I like most is his consistency in treating the customers like they are special. I look forward to each visit to Mojo's because I expect him to be there. And when he is dancing on the night of my visits, I translate the name Blaze into his becoming my warm fire, and believe me...he can warm you up.

After fighting those daily battles I step into a bar like Mojo's to escape into a fantasy for a little while and get a break from the stress of life. I'm not sure when it will happen but some time fairly soon after I arrive, I will feel these arms slide around me and I turn around to realize that once again I am getting my hug and a warm smile from Blaze. And of course, he is always wearing a sexy pair of underwear that fits his tight body perfectly. I start to forget about what I was dealing with outside, and just live in the moment. I mean, seriously, a hot sexy male dancer has his arms around me. At that moment, I have stopped thinking about paying bills, working overtime, etc., etc., etc.

What many may not realize is that Blaze instinctively understands the role of an exotic male dancer. Yes, he consistently does a great job when it's his turn on the rotation. He steps up to the stripper pole and holds positions that would make my body scream in pain. But beyond that and I feel, more importantly, he steps into the crowd and shares a laugh, flirts, gives the patrons some attention, all while almost naked. And we all love him for it! And we return back for more. We leave the outside world somewhere else.

Lesser male dancers could learn a lot from Blaze. Yes, work on your skills as a pole dancer. Work on building a great body that looks good in skimpy underwear. I suggest one size too small. But most importantly, focus on the customers. Make sure they are having a good time. They will show their appreciation by slipping those $1 tips (or more) into your skimpy underwear.
