1. Swinging Richard's ~ Atlanta, GA
As always, Swinging Richard's sets the standard for clubs with exotic male dancers. In this case, the dancers are nude, always hot, and never a disappointment to any fan of the male form.

9. Lucky Horseshoe ~ Chicago, IL
The Lucky Horseshoe is the type of bar that I wish was in my neighborhood. It's one where you can sit back, relax, have a beer, and just enjoy the dancers who rotate on the stage. Stay awhile, make some new friends, and enjoy the boyz!

10. Zippers ~ Dallas, TX
Zippers is always a stop for me when I am in Dallas. It exists for only one reason. It is a place for gay men to have a drink and watch well-built, well-endowed young men dressed in sexy underwear dance to a great music mix. I always find a dancer that I enjoy when at Zippers.

To All The Bartenders I've Ever Loved Before

Exotic Male Dancers are definitely the drawing card for me when determining which clubs I want to visit. But while watching those sexy men dance and provide a night of fantasies for me, I enjoy sipping one of my favorite alcoholic beverages. Unless I'm the designated driver, I will enjoy one or two. I'm a light weight drinker but I do have a few cocktails or beers that I prefer.

Let's start with the hard stuff. I always like starting with the hard stuff when watching exotic male dancers. (Yes, pun intended.) I prefer a martini, a dirty martini to be exact. In a chilled martini glass, I like a dash of Vermouth poured in, swished around and then poured out. Too much Vermouth is not a good thing. In a shaker add 6 oz. of Vodka and 1.5 oz of green olive brine from the jar. Gently shake it together. Pour to the rim, the unstrained mixture into the chilled martini glass. The "dirty" name comes from the cloudy look of the martini in the glass due to the olive juice/brine. Skewer three large green olives on a cocktail toothpick and place inside the glass. Sip slowly, I said slowly. Tip the bartender.

At this point I think I should state that a designated amount or tip budget for the night should have already been established. If you drink more than one dirty martini, your money will begin to fly out of your pocket and into the waistband, socks, armband, etc., of your favorite exotic male dancer. And he may not actually be your favorite dancer but the one who has become your favorite due to the introduction of alcohol into the evening. Do I know this from experience? I reserve the right not to incriminate myself.

On a night when I'm not in the mood for sipping but feel I need to relax quickly, I prefer a Jack and Coke. And if you have a good bartender then he/she will prepare a J-A-A-A-CK and coke, with emphasis on the amount of Jack Daniel's poured into the glass as compared to the amount of coke. I do not suggest specific amounts of each ingredient but rather let the bartender determine that. Oh, and I do like ice in my glass as well, but not an excessive amount since we do want to enjoy our sugary, stiff concoction. The appropriate response to this drink is to loosen up and enjoy the show. Go easy. If you have too many, you won't be able to tip the boyz unless they are making housecalls at your table, which I do hope they are doing.

And while I am on the subject of whiskey, I must admit that I do enjoy a Crown and Coke from time to time. Crown Royale is very smooth. This is not a drink for getting drunk. This is a whiskey you drink and savor. So, sit back, act like you are the richest man/woman in the room. Be careful with how many you drink of these as well. You might wind up giving most of your money to the bartender with little left for the dancers. And after all, it is the dancers that we are here to enjoy.

There are some nights that I cristen beer nights. I never know when a beer night will occur, they just happen. I will have to say that most of them do occur during the hot months of the summer. It seems a cold beer on a hot summer night is sometimes the only thing that will do. When this occurs my beer of choice is a Dos Equis Amber with a wedge of lime. There are times when money is tight and I must drink on a budget. During those times I go with Bud Light in a bottle. If money is seriously an issue, then Bud Light draft is the drink of choice. I don't want to but I have to. There's nothing wrong with Bud Light, but I prefer a darker beer. And let me state here, that there are those who prefer beer on tap rather than in a bottle as well. The good thing about being a light weight drinker is that I can drink three beers and I am good for the night. So, not only am I a light weight drinker, but a cheap one when necessary as well. The bottom line here is that I want to make sure I have enough money to tip the boyz. So, a cheaper drink, and less of it are fine with me.

Beware of bartenders/owners/managers bearing gifts! Free drinks are great! And I will occasionally stop in at a club/bar early to catch a free drink special. Also, there are bartenders who want to introduce their newest creation and give you a free sample...ok, I'll bite. Then there are owners/managers who will offer you free drinks if you are a good customer, or a potential good customer. Let's just say, that sometimes free drinks are hidden encouragement to spend more money. We all know that as you consume more alcohol, your inhibitions begin to drop, your financial filters begin to fade, and the tight grip you had on your wallet when you entered the door, begins to loosen up. If you think you'll have a problem with giving all your money to the pretty boys, then take a specific amount into the bar and leave the rest at home, in the bank, or at least in your car. Then, if you want to spend more money, you have to either drive home and get it, go to the ATM, or walk out to your car. This will help you be a little more financially responsible.

There are times when I stray away from the drinking patterns above but for the most part, I am a creature of habit and I follow them closely. During the holiday season, step into your favorite bar/club that presents exotic male dancer entertainment, and tip the bartender an extra buck or two. Share the spirit of the season. Expose Yourself! ~ Using Online Photos To Increase Tips For Exotic Male Dancers

You're in it for the money! Let's establish that fact from the very beginning. The money that can be given to the exotic male dancer is in the pockets of the audience, crowd, fans, managers, owners, agents, etc. So, if you are wanting more of that money transferred into your pocket through tips, then this blog is for you. Digital pics of you doing your thing on the stage, dance floor, bar, etc., will have an impact on your tips. How? You might ask. The power of visual promotion, that is how.

In advertising and promotion, words or copy are used to promote the product or service. There will be a catch phrase, or advertising hook that will catch your attention and then descriptions of how that product or service will improve or enhance your life. Add a music jingle that gets stuck in your head and you sing it throughout the day and the advertisers have done their job at introducing the product or service. But for maximum impact, you need visual stimulation. That is why many music artists spend so much money on their music videos. That is why so much money is spent in fashion photography. That is why the Super Bowl commercials are always so fun and/or outrageous. ( Photo by Damon Frazier)

The same principles apply to promoting the exotic male dancer. The fact that almost every party goer owns a smart phone, or at the very minimum, a phone that can take and send pics, creates a free promotional tool that you can use to your advantage. First, dress to encourage picture taking. My motto, "Show some skin and they will come in." Wear something that is sexy, puts the junk on display, and gets attention. Encourage fans to take pics. Ask them to take a picture of you standing with one or more of their friends. Then let them know your facebook dancer page (separate from your 'my family' page). Ask them to tag you in the pic. This will let all your friends and all their friends see the pics and give you free promotion. That pic will most often be posted and tagged as soon as it has been taken. ( Photo by Ken Brown)

Make sure you always have good quality pics of you dancing to post online or use in advertising. Have a friend who is a good photographer take pics of you while dancing. They do not have to be a professional, just someone who can take decent pics with their phone or camera. Also, once again, be sure you wear something very sexy. Use only the best of the final pics, and by best I mean, most revealing, sensual photos in the group. If you aren't sure which ones to use, ask a fan, friends, etc., to help you pick out a few. I like to see photos of dancers who are dancing, not posing. If you are doing a photoshoot then a set of studio type pics are alright for a profile pic, or other promotional situations. Last Minute Costume Ideas For Exotic Male Dancers

Costumes for exotic male dancers are in demand for Halloween events and at other times of the year. In an effort to assist the boyz, I have pulled a few pics from my archives for inspiration. Look at the pics
and see what others have worn in the past and find a place to start for your next costume. Then take your idea from there and make it your own. I tend to stick with classics because they work for me. However, if your crowd will respond to other ideas, that's the direction you should go. The costume ideas I've posted in this blog include items that are easy to find at discount stores, hardware stores, costume shops, etc.+The Fireman
The fireman (above) is a favorite exotic male dancer icon to many fans. In previous blogs I have written about the obvious sexual innuendos of the fireman with his big hose. In this pic, these hot
guys have put together a fun costume rather inexpensively. The toy hats can be found at costume shops. They've marked out the
emblems on the front. You can do the same or create your own fire department emblem. Click here to find the yellow rain coat pants. Search online for a pair of red suspenders. Add a pair of black boots and you are ready to go. And don't forget to wear something excitingly sexy underneath...or, wear nothing at all.

Chippendale Dancer
A definite classic for an exotic male stripper is something similar to the basic Chippendale's costume. Put together a pair of sexy briefs, boxer briefs, etc. and add a bowtie. More elaborate costumes with collars and cuffs can also be found. A bowtie can usually be found in a costume shop.

Island Boy
The island boy, cabana boy, or luau party idea at right is sexy and easy. The pretty boy in the pic is wearing a puka shell necklace. You could also wear a fake, or real lei garland necklace. A flower print towel or piece of fabric can serve as the skirt portion of the costume. Wear a pair of sandals or flip-flops to complete the look. A possible accessory could include a hollowed out coconut with a straw to serve as your beverage container. What you wear or don't wear underneath is all up to you!

Construction Worker #1:
A simple and inexpensive costume, yet sexy with the right body type is the rugged construction worker. A pair of painter overalls, a hard hat, gloves and boots can create the image of the man's man who works with his hands. I mean think about it, don't you like a man who is good with his hands?

Construction Worker #2:
This version of the construction worker will work well for all body types. A sleeveless, or unbuttoned shirt, a pair of cut off blue jeans, gloves, and boots all create the look of a hard working man who likes to play when off the clock. Punch your time card and head to the club.

Genni #1
This costume is simple, and there is very little to it. If you have a body that needs to be displayed for all to see, then this is a perfect choice for you. The costume has three major parts, a turban on the head, a vest, and a pair of bikini briefs. I suggest you do not wear shoes unless you can find costume shoes that will enhance the look. Since the Genni represents granting wishes, I recommend a pair of metallic bikini briefs that suggest gold, silver, copper, or wealth of some type. For the turban, do a google search for 'tying a turban'. Purchase a piece of cloth large enough to be tied on your head. Find cloth that has a metallic sheen, or metallic look embroidery in it, etc. The vest in the pic is made of chains. If
you are creative and can create your own, you can find inexpensive chain in craft stores. However, search a costume store, flea market, etc., for a vest that will fit. If it is plain, paint it with metallic cloth paint which can be found at craft stores. Add a couple of inexpensive gold bracelets, rings, etc., for a richer look. With a costume like this, you'll have your choice of which wishes you want to grant for the night.

Genni #2:
This Genni costume is not so easy to put together but I thought it was so damn sexy that I wanted to show the pic anyway. This may be a choice for a future event. This might require a good tailor or seamstress. When the event allows the "boys" to be put on display, this costume will be a definite hit at the party.

Leather Sir
If you or a friend enjoy the leather lifestyle, leather can be a sexy and quick option. A costume like the one shown at left suggest a fun night is ahead with the possibility of a little danger thrown in. It is not an inexpensive option, however, but as suggested, if you can borrow the pieces from a friend for the night, leather is a good option for
any costume event.

Hillbilly Country Boy
Ok, look at the pic at left. This guy is wearing a simple pair of overalls. He looks sexy as hell. Of course, he has a super hot body and that helps. But think about the fun you can have hooking and unhooking the shoulder straps of the overalls and revealing enough to keep the night interesting. For the full effect, add a straw hat, and of course, you have to go barefooted. Who wouldn't want to have a 'roll-in-the-hay with you?

Cowboy
Regular readers of my blogs already know that the cowboy image is definitely one of my favorites. For this look, as long as you have the cowboy hat, you can go in many different directions. I suggest you borrow the hat from a friend, rent it from a costume shop,
or purchase an inexpensive straw cowboy hat. Authentic felt cowboy hats can be very expensive. If you have a
source for western wear,
there are chaps, gloves, boots, vests, bandanas, and more
that can be added. However,
if your budget is more like mine, I suggest going minimal. Add a pair of bikini briefs in a bright color and a matching bandana scarf around the neck. If you own or can borrow a pair of cowboy boots, that is enough for a hot cowboy and any male stripper fan will appreciate the minimal clothing look. Climb in the saddle and have a fun night!

I hope these suggestions will inspire you to create something memorable even if it is a last minute idea. Sometimes the ideas created under the crunch turn out to be the best. Ten Tips For Success For All Exotic Male Dancers

   I consider myself to be the typical exotic male dancer fan with a few exceptions. I have had the opportunity to travel across the United States and visit some of the best clubs and venues that hire go-go boys, male dancers, male strippers, etc. I started Males In Motion in 2003 because I wanted to promote my favorite form of entertainment. Males In Motion is still going strong and the passion I have for what I do has never dimmed. With this background in mind, I think I may have some wisdom in developing a list of ten things that an Exotic Male Dancer should consider if he wants to be successful. I represent the fan, or the tipper, the person with the money in their pocket who wants to interact with the male dancer and slide my hard-earned-cash into his waistband, pouch, straps, etc. In order to encourage this transaction to take place, I have listed 10 things that an exotic male dancer can do to get my attention, and I'm sure that of many other fans as well. 1. ACKNOWLEDGE
I EXIST
Greet me when I come into the bar, club or venue where you are performing. If you make an effort to come to my seat, I will always tip. If I don't tip you right then and there, I WILL step up to the stage, etc., when you are dancing and tip you.   I have been greeted before I walked through the door before, once in Providence, RI and the other time in Nashville, TN. I tipped both dancers immediately when they hit the stage, and let them know that was the reason I was tipping. Realize that I have arrived at this establishment to see some hot men in little or no clothing, enjoy a drink and relax. If you (the male dancer) gives me a little attention, it will contribute to my having a fun and possibly memorable night. 2. DRESS OR UNDRESS SEXY
Wear something exciting. You want to visually catch my attention. Let's be clear here...I like to see dick! That of course is no problem in an all-nude club, but for the clubs where nudity is not a featured attraction, there are a few things you can do. If you wear something that outlines your privates, I will be watching. If those privates are allowed to move a little, I will be watching. If you become aroused and I see a bulge in your pants, I definitely will be watching. If you have not been so blessed up front, then wear something that shows off that ass. If you slide the waistband of your briefs down and give me a glimpse of the bubble, then I will be watching.   "Show some skin and they will come in."

3. MAKE EYE CONTACT
I tipped a dancer at Swinging Richards in Atlanta simply because he kept looking straight at me, making eye contact, and smiling. Well, he was pretty damn cute too. But the eye contact made me get up out of my chair and walk up to the stage and place a few $1 in his armband. I knew he didn't think I was special and it wasn't a "I want you look". The dancer acknowledged that I was there and existed. Was he working me for tips? Sure he was. Do I care? No, he made the effort to notice I was there. I made the effort to tip and enjoy. 4. SAY THANK YOU
If I tip a male dancer and he says thank you, then I will return to tip him again during his next session. If he says nothing, then unless he stops by my seat after his session and says thank you, then I am through with him for the night. Saying thank you is easy and free. Acknowledge that I exist and that I am making a contribution to your financial success. If a dancer says thank you, and then comes by my table after his session to thank me again, I will tip again right then. Now I know that not all male dancers are comfortable with this, but if you are the type that gives a hug and a kiss on the cheek, well, I will be back....just sayin'. 5. CREATE A DRAMA FREE ZONE When an exotic male dancer arrives to work, he must leave all drama outside the door. I'm there for my fantasies, my escape, my pleasure, my stress release...not yours. I don't want to hear you complaining to the other dancers, other fans who may be friends, and least of all, do I want you complaining to me. If you bring your drama in the room, it is going to bring down my experience. If this happens, I will avoid you like the plague. The last thing I need is more drama when I am trying to relax. All I can say is that I will maintain a drama free zone around myself. If that means I must avoid you, I will. And there goes any potential for tip money.

6. AVOID EXCESS Get drunk and/or high on your own time. If you choose to participate in alcohol or drug abuse, hey, that's your business. But when you do it on my time at the club, then I will leave you alone. I have stated before that I have visited clubs where a dancer was tweaked out and visiting another planet. If I can't interact with you, then I will leave you alone. However, there are others, let's just call them predators, who will welcome an opportunity to find you in that state. If you choose to use and abuse in an unguarded, unsafe environment, then don't be surprised where you wind up. Be careful please.

7. REMOVE YOUR TIARA Although a tiara would most often be associated with a countess, woman of means, or a drag queen, in this case we ask you to remove the little crown from your "large head" and come back down to earth. If a dancer has a prima donna attitude, unless he is drop-dead gorgeous with an Adonis body, and lies down naked on a bed and tells me, "go for it...enjoy", then I'm going to find another dancer who lives on this plane. You see I can be shallow too, and can enjoy your beautiful body without having to interact with you on a mental or emotional level, if you have given your permission. Hey, I'm a gay male...it's in my physical makeup. But of course, we both know if you are pushing attitude then you're not going to make yourself available as described above. And I also find it so much sexier and enjoyable if the other party is a willing and active participant in such activity. Confidence in your look, abilities, the way you carry yourself, your goals, etc., that is great and a positive virtue. But your good looks will fade so while you can, build something positive behind those looks that will carry you later in life.

8. PLEASE DON'T OVERWORK ME When an exotic male dancer is working the room, I like to be worked. As I stated above, I like the attention. But please don't overwork me. If I tell you I don't want a lap dance, or am not ready to go into the VIP Lounge, then take it at face value. Ask me one time and that is enough. If I want you to come back by, then I will say drop by later and we'll do it. I remember another dancer at Swinging Richards who was smart about this. He had asked about a lap dance or a trip to the VIP room but I wasn't interested. I had already picked a different dancer that I wanted for those activities. This dancer came back around later in the night and began giving me a neck, shoulder and upper back rub. Think about it...a hot male dancer wearing very little clothing was rubbing on my neck...good. He was skillfully removing the tension from my neck and shoulders....very good. I began tipping him in return...good. It was a win-win situation. He didn't overwork me but gave me something of value in exchange. ( I wish he was here right now. I could use another neck and shoulder rub.)

9. ENHANCE MY EXPERIENCE
You look great in your underwear and I am enjoying it. Let's take it to the next level. Try a cowboy look, military look, athlete look, leather look, etc., and capture my fantasies. It is no secret that I love cowboys. So, if you are wearing a cowboy hat and boots, then I am putty. If you follow steps 1-8 and then are dressed like a cowboy, it is almost certain that you will receive all the cash in my pocket that I have set aside for the night. It just works for me. There are other fans who feel the same about leather, military men, athletes, etc. Push their buttons and more tips will come your way. Also, if I am celebrating a special event in my life, look for the signs and join in. Come by and tell me congratulations. You might even offer a free lap dance to honor my night. 10. LEARN TO DANCE
Notice that I am recommending you learn to dance as the last tip. The reason it is last is because I have watched exotic male dancers make lots of money in tips when all they have done is shuffle around the floor a little. You will never describe what they do as actual dancing. They receive the extra in tips because they interact well with the crowd, look exceptionally hot, or have become a crowd favorite....or dozens of other reasons. So, honestly it isn't always a requirement to be a good dancer. However, if you can follow tips 1-9 and you are a skillful exotic dancer, then you have the potential for a long career in the field. If you know your dancing ability needs a little work, I recommend that you seek out male dancers who can dance and copy their techniques.    There's a heat wave in the southern U.S. borderland. Travel south from San Antonio on Highway 281 and you'll find McAllen, TX.    If you have read very many of my blogs, you have discovered that I love cowboys. If you play into my fantasy, look good while doing it, and do it well, then the money in my pocket will be yours. If an exotic male dancer wears a cowboy hat, then I will be up and tipping in no time. If he has added a pair of boots, then I will move a little faster to get to the stage. If he started out in full western wear including those all important tight wrangler jeans, and slowly stripped down to a thong, cowboy boots and the hat, then circle the wagons because you're going to need some serious back up.    The world of sports is always a great place from which to pull a fantasy look. Club Review: Swinging Richard's (All-Nude Male Strip Club) ~ Atlanta, GA

   Imagine this. Six hot, well-built, beautiful men dancing on the stage before you. By the third song, they are fully nude. Each and everyone is well equipped for the job. They are handsome, when you want to stop and look at their faces. They have great physiques, when you want to stop and observe the rest of the package. Each one is, shall we say, well hung. And for the ass man, well, there is plenty to be happy about from that angle as well. My face was stuck in a permanent grin the entire night. That is Swinging Richards the Saturday night that Males In Motion stopped by.

   We had visited Swinging Richards several years ago and the experience had been enough for us to always desire to return. This summer we finally were able to make our way back to Atlanta, GA. By arriving just before 8:00 p.m. we did not have to pay a cover charge. This gave me a few more dollars for tipping the boys. There is a $3 parking fee but it is well worth it. The parking lot is just outside the club and by arriving early, you will be able to get a spot in the lot.

   I started the night with a dirty martini. You won't find cheap drink prices here but once you start watching the dancers, you don't care. I paid $10 for the martini plus a $1 tip. My partner paid $8.50 for a Jack and Coke plus a $1 tip. I had a few more drinks throughout the night and the prices were slightly higher than at a regular bar.

   I wasn't sure what time the dancers would hit the stage and was pleased to see a nude dancer performing, pole-in-hand (pun intended), as I took my drink and found a seat at a table near the main stage. During the first hour the dancers would rotate one at a time but more dancers were added as the night progressed. There were two, then three, then four, until there were six dancers at a time on the stage. Their sessions were usually for 3 songs. During the first song they were fully clothed or in underwear. For the second song they went to underwear, or would pull their underwear down to reveal more of their physical assets. Then by the third song, most were nude. It was hinted that they don't get fully nude unless they have received $10 in tips. That may be but most were usually nude by the third song.

   When you step up to the stage to tip the guys, the dancers will step forward and if nude will 'swing' their junk in your face. There is no touching aloud. The dancers wear arm bands where you place your tips. And if the dancer happens to be wearing his underwear when you approach to tip, do not worry, he will pull it down low enough to swing the big guy in your face. And yes, they are big guys. I imagine that their is a size requirement to work at the club. If not written, I am sure that there must be a visual inspection that helps to eliminate those whose proportion doesn't make the cut. (NOTE TO SWINGING RICHARDS MANAGEMENT: If you need someone for the job of making those inspections, I am available. I have lots of experience. No, I'm not a whore, but have been to a lot of nude male strip clubs. And yes, I would do it for free. Just let me know when I need to move to the Atlanta area. Tonight you say? Ok, I am on my way.)

   There were at least 35 different dancers performing on this Saturday night. They all had different looks and physical attributes. There was a dancer that could catch the eye of any customer that walked through the door. Of course, everyone has their favorites as well as myself. My favorite for the night was Skyler. He can actually dance, is cute as hell, killer smile, and a hot body. I saw him only twice on stage during the night. I have the feeling that many other customers in the VIP room and elsewhere must have liked him as well.

Antonio (tall, slim, well-defined african american, well-endowed)... all I can say is that I very much enjoyed standing at the edge of the stage and looking up while tipping. Woot!

Rue (wore a football style jock, athletic body)...fits that fantasy we've all had of the encounter with the athlete.

Austin (wore cowboy boots, and you should see the low hangers)...and as you know, cowboys do it for me.

Brennan (the most sensual dancer)...he had some sweet moves and it was fun to watch him move his body. He was especially hot during some of the slower songs.

The bar backs and shooter boys are every bit as fine as the dancers. We watched a bar back work the room on the opposite side of the club. He was tall, good looking, and obviously a regular at the gym with a broad chest and narrow waist. His body knew how to wear a pair of jeans. We kept waiting for him to wait on us but he only worked the other side of the room. There was only one solution to that problem. So, being the shallow, eye candy followers that we are, we moved to the other side of the room so he could wait on us. And he did. Thanks Steven, you were great. We enjoyed every minute of your time that we received. I'll admit it. I purchased more drinks just so Steven would have to come back to my table. Hey, many gay men do this, but I'm honest enough to admit it. (Did the bar owners/managers/bartenders hear that? Steve was very hot...and we purchased more drinks than we probably would have because he was so hot. It's just gay male/straight female basic behavior in a place like Swinging Richards. So, keep hiring the hotties!)

At midnight Swinging Richards holds a "T-Shirt Dance". All the dancers who are not already busy in the VIP room are called to the stage. The audience picks a dancer and for $20 receives two lap dances and a Swinging Richards t-shirt. I selected the dancer Kyle. My partner and I shared Kyle for the lap dance. The lap dance was in the main area of the club and Kyle was fully nude. He has a great body and was a total sweetheart. Thanks Kyle we had a great time! We recommend Kyle for all your lap dance needs!!!

We placed Swinging Richards in our TOP 10 Exotic Male Strip Clubs for 2010. They are sure to remain in our top 10. If you are a serious fan of exotic male dancers, you need to make Swinging Richards a destination on your list. I have visited this club five times in the past few years and I have never been disappointed. The dancers always look like they've walked out of your fantasies. Many, if not most of them are straight men, but provide a quality experience for the gay men who make up most of the clientele at Swinging Richards. It is probably a good thing that I do not live closer to Swinging Richards. I am afraid that I would be broke more often than not due to tipping the dancers at this club.

Until next time, plan your trip to Atlanta, GA. And at this point I always say "Don't forget to tip the boyz!" But when Swinging Richards is involved, no encouragement is needed. You won't be able to help yourself. Tip them and let them "Swing Richard in your face!"

Men Of Arrow ~ Rock Stars Of A New Breed ~ Nashville, TN

   They're young, sexy, talented and ready to party! They'll turn your world upside down, over-and-under, and sideways. But don't expect them to trash your hotel room or set it on fire. They're not looking for publicity stunts. They are the Men Of Arrow from Nashville, TN and if you saw them walking down the street, you might mistake them for the latest rock band that everyone is talking about! There's no doubt, they will put on an excellent show, but watch for them as they take the pole in hand and forge a path of a new breed!

   You've no doubt seen male pole dancers at a bar or other event. Well, forget all you know because the Men Of Arrow take this style of dance to a whole new level. These young men are passionate about using their athletic skills to entertain the crowd (both male and female). And I feel compelled to mention that those athletic skills are performed by sexy male bodies, so yes, ladies and gentlemen, they are exotic male dancers who love to work their magic for your pleasure. And just so you know, there are some events where the men perform fully nude. That of course depends on the type of event, location, and the wishes of their client.

   So, do I now have your attention? Let's just say that whether nude or wearing clothing, the men are easy on the eyes. I recommend that you keep up-to-date by friending them on their facebook page. The guys, Jonas, Stunner, Vegas and Ace, perform in venues around the Nashville area and nearby states. But they are not limited to those areas and are available to travel across country to a location near you.

We met the Men Of Arrow on a recent Friday night in Nashville, TN at the club Trax. The guys set up an outdoor venue on the patio. We were privileged to not only get to watch the men peform, but also got to spend some time just getting to know them.    In the blog on Tip 5 we discussed body awareness and encouraged exotic male dancers to emphasize those body parts that could be considered their best features. In this blog we talk about taking the extra step at any event by participating in theme or special events of the night. All of this done of course, in order to obtain more $$$ in tip money, and to impress the club or event management enough that they will hire the dancer for their next event.

   As always, my focus is on the experience of the customer. So, at any event, the exotic male dancer should be watching to see if there are any special occasions being celebrated by customers. Is it someone's birthday? Did someone get a new job, or get a raise at their job? Is there a bachelorette party in the house? Or even a bachelor party in states where gay men can get married? Find a way to add to their special evening. My suggestion is to find out who the guest or guests of honor are, and offer them a free lap dance. Say something like, "My name is ________ and it would be my honor to celebrate with you tonight by giving you a free lap dance. Would that be ok with you?" There may be a few shy ones that would say no, if so, then ask them to pick someone in their group to receive the free lap dance in their honor. Then proceed to give the recipient a free lap dance. If their friends are any friends at all, they will tip the dancer during or after the lap dance. Or they may wait until he returns to the stage. The main thing is that positive promotion for the dancer has been created. When they are telling the story of their special night to other friends they will say, and "xxxxx", the male dancer gave me a free lap dance. He was so hot!!! etc., etc., etc. The members of this party will be looking for the dancer the next time they enter the club or event where he might be working.

   When a male dancer is being booked for a party, event, club appearance, male revue, etc., they should immediately ask if there is a special theme for the night. The most obvious theme nights are holidays. Think ahead and be prepared to wear something sexy and appropriate for New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Mardi Gra, Military Related Holidays, Independence Day, Halloween, Christmas, and other holidays throughout the year. Other themed nights may include cowboys, policemen, firemen, sports, superheroes, and movies. Also, remember the circuit party themes like the white party, red party, purple party, black party, etc. And of course, for everyone who celebrates diversity, there are the many pride celebrations. There may also be occasions where the show director will provide the costumes for the night.

   It can be a little overwhelming to try and find something new and different each time you are hired to dance. Also, most of our personal budgets wouldn't be able to cover the expense. I suggest that you take it one week at a time. Start by purchasing great underwear that can work as the base for many different themes, holidays, and looks. For example, a great pair of white underwear will work as the starting point for the white party, Independence Day, possible Christmas, etc. A pair of great red underwear will work for the starting point for a red party, Independence Day, some superheroes, a fireman, possibly sports, Christmas, etc.

   After the base sexy pair of underwear has been chosen, it is time to add the extras that create the theme. Below I've listed a few basic ideas for different themes.

COWBOY: The hat is a must, boots are a plus, a holster with two fake hand guns is great, a bandana around the neck. The underwear can be almost any color. Other options include spurs, denim underwear, a sheriff's star attached to the holster.

MILITARY: ARMY: Camo underwear, black army boots, sunglasses, dog tags.

SPORTS: FOOTBALL: Shoulder pads, jock strap, tennis shoes, black face paint under eyes, football in hand. A football jersey can be hot, particularly if it is cut and the abs are allowed to show. If I find out a go-go boy/male stripper is wearing a football jersey and has raised it up by tying it in a knot under his chest. I will personally come and kick you in the balls. Well, not really but I would want to. Don't ruin the fantasy of the masculine, football jock. This isn't Men On Football. For those of you too young to understand the reference watch the video below. It's a classic from In Living Color on You Tube. Funny in it's place but not in the male stripper football jock fantasy.

SUPERHEROES: SUPERMAN: If you can purchase a costume that fits you skin tight, then great. If not, just play on the theme by buying a very tight t-shirt with the "S" emblem on it and wear a pair of matching underwear. Another option is to have the "S" emblem painted on your chest. Or, have an entire suit other than your briefs, painted on your body. And there are many other options instead of Superman. Such as those shown in photo below.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY: Create the idea of a sexy leprechaun...Green boxer briefs or bikini briefs, green or black suspenders or a green vest, green or black bolo hat, green bowtie. If possible, have a shamrock somewhere, possibly on the hat or vest. Carry the largest beer mug you can find as a prop. Another good prop is a bag of cold coins. A small mesh bag where you can see the coins could be tied at the waist. Matching shoes of some type.

POLICEMAN: Navy blue boxer briefs or bikini briefs, night stick, hand cuffs hanging from waist so a belt may be needed, a badge clipped onto waist, sunglasses, black boots. An old style policeman's cap, a baseball cap with policeman theme, or no cap.

PATRIOTIC: For the 4th of July or other patriotic themed holidays, I still find it sexy to see a dancer in an American flag print thong or bikini briefs. For those of you who work in countries other than the U.S., select underwear printed with the flag of your country.

You can always buy or rent costumes. However, I am of the opinion that you should do something to make it uniquely you. If you buy a costume, change it in someway to make it sexier, and so that it doesn't look like the same one someone else is wearing.

These are only a few ideas but hopefully they will provide a start if someone is wanting to follow a theme for an event. One word of caution, unless you are going to be stripping it all off, be careful not to add "too much". After all, we are wanting to see skin, not costumes. I will be writing future blogs with specific costume ideas for different theme nights. Bar Review: Mojo's You've Done It!!! Please move to the front of the line! Sexy Male Dancers In Tulsa, OK!

   I've found my party spot for Tulsa, OK! It's called Mojo's, and after one night, I feel at home. Rarely do I walk into a new bar (only 4 months old) and immediately feel it's 'my place'. On Saturday night, July 9, my partner and I were in Tulsa and stopped in at 426 S Memorial Drive. We had been told about the bar by friends at the Tulsa Eagle, and decided to give it a shot. And we are so glad we did. Even my partner who often lovingly but sometimes reluctantly goes along with my male dance club visits, had a great time and is looking forward to a return trip.

   What's so special about Mojo's? you ask. They get it! They actually get it! The customer is their first priority at this bar. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The dancers are sexy, approachable, gracious when tipped, and work hard to make sure you are having a good time. They move around the room and visit the various customers, both male and female, regulars and new, and treat all equal. And the reason for all of this is the owner, Brian. I was most impressed with one comment he made about the patrons of his bar, "I know all of these people." How many bar owners can say that? In order for that to happen, he's had to take the time to get to know them. This translates into his management style, his bartenders, and most importantly, his dancers. And as he explained to me, he had a dancer with a little too much attitude that he dismissed. Another way that he shows that emphasis is on the customer.

   The facility is comprised of a large rectangle room with a small area to the left back that extends the bar and provides an area for an office and restrooms. The main dance area is a stage in the middle of the room, slightly elevated, with seating around three sides. To the right is a pool table and additional seating. You can easily view the dancers in the middle from any area of the bar. The dancers rotate dancing on the stage and the customers tip them from two sides of the stage, or from their seats during the dancer's session which lasts 2-3 songs. While not dancing, several of the other dancers move around the room and visit with the customers.

   Now, let's talk about the sexy male dancers. There were six different ones during the time we were there: James, Abie, Eric, Tyler, Jay, and Josh. All have different looks, styles, and personalities. Any customer would be able to enjoy the talents of one or more of these guys. Every one of them stopped by and spoke with me during the night. They didn't hit me up for tips, they didn't push for a lap dance, they actually just stopped by and talked for a while. And that worked for me because, yes, I did tip each one. Some more than others, but I felt welcomed and was treated like a regular. Thanks guys, it makes a difference!

   Ok, enough with the niceties. Now, let's get down to the dirt.

   Abie is definitely a "pretty boy" and although he had only been dancing for about 2 weeks, he took to it naturally. Cute face, great smile, hot body, and the white underwear he was wearing...well, let me just say, I tipped him once and said "this is for your selection of underwear."

   James has a great body, and fills out his shorts nicely all the way around. He was nice to look at but also fun to talk with as well.

   If there were an award to be given for best ass, it would definitely go to Tyler. He knows how to move it as well. Sorry, we missed getting a pic of him, you'll just have to go check him out for yourself.

   Jay is a new dancer and was learning the ropes the night we were there. He appealed to my partner who likes a man with a little hair on his chest.

   Eric must have been a gymnast in another life. He was swinging from the rafters, rolling his body with moves that I'm sure makes his significant other happy. He was a busy guy, spends some of his time bar tending as well.

   Josh is one sexy m*** f****. And I don't often curse in symbols, so you know I mean it. (**SMILE**)
Very sexy body, talented dancer, handsome face, and yes, he's packing. Everything a straight woman and a gay man dreams of in an exotic male dancer.

Cody Domino Reveals His Many Talents - Exotic Male Dancer - Chi-Town Boyz - Chicago

There's more than meets the eye when it comes to Cody Domino. But, what meets the eye is worth stopping and noticing. With the pic above, I've decided 'baby blue' is my new favorite color! Ok, you stat whores, here are his numbers: 5'10 170lbs 31waist dark brown hair and brown eyes. And his All-American ethnic mix includes Spanish, French and German. Cody can be found every week filling various entertainment roles in the Chicago area. This Thursday, July 14, he will be dancing under the Chi-Town Boyz banner at the Velvet Rope in Oak Park, IL. The exotic male dancers of Chi-Town Boyz have become a frequent feature at the Velvet Rope, and that's understandable. There are a lot of hot male dancers like Cody that work with the founder, Patrick Daniel. Patrick has been involved with exotic male dancer entertainment for several years, and I know from personal experience that he recruits some of the hottest dancers, and always puts on a great show! Male Stripper Costume Tip 5: Putting Together A Working Look - Body Emphasis

   For this blog to be effective, we have to start with the assumption that the exotic male dancer is performing for the sake of making money. We'll start with that understanding and then look at various costume choices that can assist in creating the desire for a customer to step up and tip. I am going to provide three basic points of focus that a male dancer can use to create a financially successful look. The three points are body emphasis, theme participation, and fantasy enhancement. We'll explore body emphasis in this blog and catch the other two in Tips 6 and 7. (Photo Source: OutFront Colorado)

   If the male dancer is blessed and/or has created the adonis body and has the face and package to go with it, then he can wear whatever the hell he wants. We are going to like it. He can put on a raincoat and rubber boots and as long as he keeps opening it up and showing us the goods, we're going to be happy. We might even buy him a matching umbrella to go with it.

   However, if he was not quite that blessed, then the exotic male dancer hopeful, must take an honest look at his most positive attributes. Everyone is turned on by different male body parts. Some like faces, some chests, some muscles, some butts, some legs, some abs, some large endowments (ok almost everyone likes this one), and some even like short or long hair. A potential male dancer needs to ask himself "What physical feature(s) has he been given that will capture the attention of the crowd?"

   I break it down this way starting with the face: pretty-boy, cute or ruggedly handsome face. If his face causes second looks, then he should spend a lot of time making eye-to-eye contact with individuals in the crowd. He will most likely have also been given a great smile, so when eye contact is made, a melt-your-heart-smile should be offered as well. Yes, this is blatantly working the crowd for tips, but they won't complain and they'll enjoy the attention. It won't be long until they'll be sliding a bill or two in the waistband of those tight, form-fitting briefs. And I encourage the male dancer to respond with a hug, kiss on the cheek, "thank you", and big smile. Hearts will melt. Additional tips will be offered. (Photo Source: Allan Spiers Photography)

   Moving down the body, if a fantastic chest has been built or genetical given, the male dancer should always keep it bare, or wear extremely tight-fitting clothing to cover it. Any clothing that covers the chest is worn simply as a part of a strip-tease to pull off during the performance. Attention should be focused on the amazing chest by rubbing it with his hands. Hey, I suggest to even stop and pinch a nipple every now and then. If chest hair grows across the peaks and valleys, then it is up to the male dancer whether he shaves, trims or keeps it natural. Listen to the tippers and follow their lead as to which look produces the most interest, followed by tips. When a fan comes up and tips, take their hands and move them across the chest and say "thank you". Be sure and stop on at least one nipple. This will encourage them to return with more tips.

   If the male dancer's body is well defined and bulging with muscles, he should dance in a way that causes those muscles to flex. He needs to find ways to separate himself from the other dancers by demonstrating feats of strength. If the ability exists to do handstands, or other feats of strength, do it, and show off a little. While pole dancing, hold the body parallel to the floor. When a tipper brings his hard earned money and offers a tip, take his hand and run it across the biceps and flex for them and say "thank you". Encourage him/her to squeeze the muscle and feel it's hardness.

   Great abs are very sexy! Most guys aren't willing to put in the time to develop that 6-pack or washboard stomach. If the male dancer has abs that are worthy of display, he should find or create moves that cause the abs to pop. One word of warning, there is a fine line between sexy ab muscles and looking like your having some type of seizure. It probably isn't a good thing to be referred to by the crowd as "spaz". But when done right, the abs can be a powerful drawing card for more tips. When a fan slides that dollar bill in male briefs, which should be low riders by the way, their hand should be taken and guided as they rub up and down on the abs. A "thank you" to the tipper at that time would also be in order.

   Ok, now we have arrived to the boyz, or more commonly known as the crotch area. If the exotic male dancer is packing and has no qualms about strange fingers walking across their nether regions, then as they tip, assistance should be given to make sure those fingers find their way to paradise. I'm just going to be real and up front about this. When I am at a club and I am allowed to do a little discreet exploration between a dancers legs, I will continue to place consecutive $1 or more in and around said area of exploration, often until I run out of greenbacks and need to make an additional trip to the ATM. Yes, I am easy, and Yes, I do enjoy a secret fondle, grope, or stroke with a male dancer. Now, I'm not suggesting that your mutual activities necessitate the both of you needing to smoke a cigarette afterwards but a little fun and fantasy never hurt anyone. Wear briefs that follow every bulge and contour. Change it up from time to time and wear briefs that pull everything up and forward. Emphasize the pouch.

   I am an ass man. Yes, I can always appreciate a nice butt. And if a male dancer has the behind that eyes like to follow, then he must carefully select underwear that seductively molds itself around the globes and crevice. Do NOT ever wear anything that is baggy. If legal, I suggest jock straps and mesh. When I tip an exotic male dancer with a great ass, I request that he turn around so that while I am placing my tips I can enjoy a close-up view. I will also partake in a squeeze or two only to detect the level of firmness of course.

   Great legs are often something appreciated on the female but if an exotic male dancer has what can be described as great legs, then I suggest he spend a lot of time on the pole. (Hey, I am talking about the stripper pole.) Strong legs will allow the dancer to climb, clamp, and cling in ways that will create new fantasies for those watching. When a tipper comes up the dancer should go down in a crouching position so their leg muscles are flexed. When a tip has been placed, the dancer should take the fan's hands and guide them in rubbing from chest down and across the thighs. Boxer briefs always look great on strong thighs. Watch out when wearing socks. Avoid covering the calf muscles.

   Briefly I want to mention that there are people with foot fetishes. The male dancer should consider going barefoot on stage every once in a while to give these folks a little thrill. That is, if he has smooth feet that are familiar with a pedicure. If the dancer knows that a specific tipper has a foot fetish and is comfortable with the fact, after he has been tipped, take the fan's hands and guide them down the chest, crotch, legs and all the way to the feet. This isn't something that everyone is comfortable doing and many people would not want to touch another person's feet, but for those who get off on this, it will definitely make their night. As I said, do this only if you know for a fact that this fan will enjoy it.

   NOTE: All exotic male dancers please be aware that your employer may have his own ideas and policies concerning 'touching' that might be going on between you and a customer. Some businesses are strict about a no touch policy while others may turn a blind eye to a little play. It is the male dancers responsibility to follow the wishes of their employer. Customers please respect the dancer. You will always want more from them than they may be willing or able to give. Take it for what it is and have a good time.

   Watch for Costume tips 6 and 7, theme participation and fantasy enhancement. Theme participation involves getting into the theme of the night for the club or event. It may also involve assisting the customer's in their special nights. Fantasy enhancement is taking what we already know excites the fans and building upon that fetish or turn-on. Sexiest Underwear For Male Strippers

   I'll be the first to admit that different types of underwear on male strippers does it for different people. For example, some guys like to see dancers in boxer briefs and others like to see them wearing thongs. I like both of those. But, since I do have my own opinion, I have gathered together a set of underwear looks that really do it for me. My inspiration for this blog is a dancer who goes by the name of Michael and dances at the Tulsa Eagle in Tulsa, OK. One night while watching, tipping and enjoying Michael's talents, I especially noticed the underwear that he was so expertly wearing. The fabric molded itself to every curve, crevice, and bulge. Let me just say, I was inspired to tip, and so were the others in my group. I've assembled a few suggestions for underwear on this page that I hope will inspire others to tip their favorite Exotic Male Dancers.

   The Timoteo Jock Strap (above and right) is definitely one of my favorites. When it is legal to show the male behind in all it's glory, I prefer that it be presented in a jock strap frame. The soft, cotton front pouch is nice to the touch and provides very minimal coverage. The straps are perfect for holding my many $1 tips. And are in perfect reach since I often prefer tipping around back. And for this product I like the color red but it comes in other colors as well.

   The Good Devil You Complete Me Brief (left) is...well...I mean, look at it on this model. I'm ready to see an exotic male dancer in (and out) of these already. The waistband rides a little lower than many underwear styles. And the fabric fits snugly around "the boys" providing visual encouragement for tipping and other possible inconspicuous hand movements.

   The Andrew Christian Almost Naked Sheer Brief (right) has see-through sides and back but covers the front. The family jewels are protected in a "put-it-out-there" pouch. A two-handed tip method is required here. One hand to place the tip, the other to discretely, and gently cup the pouch.

   The Gregg Homme Dungeon Brief brings something a little more exotic to the stage. It covers but barely, and plays well with the crowd that likes the latex look. This isn't your every day dish, but heats up the crowd for those special occasions. I like the way the pouch lifts everything up and points it in your direction. And of course having to maneuver your way around such a large protrusion to place a tip, could provide a few opportunities for 'accidental' side swipes.

   The Good Devil Mesh Brief is my favorite of the lot. And with this selection, blue quickly becomes my favorite color. Yes, I know that you couldn't wear this product for most go-go boy or exotic male dancer events. However, the male stripper who either dances at an all-nude club or a private party can provide a sneak peak of what is to come. If a male dancer has the goods between the legs and can make an impressive showing, then I recommend wearing this brief to get a few hearts pumping faster, and encouraging wallets to open up for tips.

   And since the above product cannot be worn for all male dancer events, I list this one, because it can. The Joe Snyder Launch Bikini Brief fits so well that it looks as though it is see-through. And notice how the balls are clearly seen in this pic. Well, everything can be clearly seen in this pic. This product provides the coverage required by law, and the effect desired by male stripper fans. I'll be out of my seat and ready to say hello in two seconds flat. I would like to see these worn by a dancer on a box...just high enough so that the dancer's crotch is right at my eye-level. Club managers, I ask that you make it so.

It's All About ME and the Male Stripper!

   On a recent weekend, I went bar hopping with a couple of friends. Now the bars weren't just any kind of bar, I stopped in at three clubs with male strippers/dancers. What a surprise! Right? The experience we had varied so much at the three locations, that I felt it was worthy of a blog. I'll start with the most negative and move to the most positive. I'm not naming the locations or the city where they are located. I want to focus more on customer service and hopefully provide experiences that other male dancers, club managers, owners, show directors, etc., can learn from. Maybe they will be able to avoid falling into a downhill slide toward closing the doors.

   I have contacted the management at the three locations to provide a little constructive feedback or appropriate "pat-on-the-back" or "grope-in-the-crotch". Well, you get the idea. I try to never give negative reviews of a bar that has male strippers. I do not lie but I try to find some redeeming quality that I can focus on because I truly want all exotic male dancers to succeed. It's all about me and my pleasure. The more places I can visit and see the boyz, the happier I am! But I also want to make it clear, that it is the customer, like me, whose happiness and positive experience will keep the bar or club open and successful. We go to these clubs and bars to watch and tip the boys, but I'm the one with the money in my pocket, so if I don't get a little attention and treated kindly, then that money will stay in my pocket.

   The three of us walked into the first bar and received no response from anyone in the bar upon entering. There was no welcome, no thank you for stopping by, etc. We were visiting on a Saturday night and although the bar is known for having many male dancers, we saw only 3. It was almost 11:00 p.m. so the place should have started to come alive. The bartender who waited on us was friendly and unfortunately, the only high point of the visit. We were eventually spoken to by an incoherent dancer who we could not understand. We will not attempt to guess the reason of his incoherence. It was not a language impediment or a strong accent. I will simply state that when I looked in his eyes, I could tell he had blasted off from earth and was currently floating through the Milky Way Galaxy or beyond. The interior of the bar was in need of a few repairs and a thorough cleaning. We officially dubbed it the “skank hole” after we left. And we agreed that the bar is most likely on it's last leg unless customer service and quality of dancers improves. It hurts me to speak negatively about a place that has much potential, but after visiting several times over two years, and having similar experiences, I fear the writing is on the wall.

   Our recommendations to the first bar include, more dancers who are more appealing to the customers. Someone should greet each person that enters the door and let them know they are welcome and their business is appreciated. This could be a bartender but at a male strip club it is more effective if the greeting comes from one of the dancers. The dancers need to be trained in how to interact with customers. If they are wanting to make tips, they need to realize the importance of each individual patron in the success of the bar or club. I suggest they clean the place up and fix the building problems. There is no reason that the customers should feel they need to take a bath after they leave a place of business, unless the dancers caused them to sweat. That is always ok. However, we have written this bar off as a lost cause and will not be returning. This will please my partner who rolled his eyes every time I asked him to go with me to visit this establishment. He would reluctantly go with me but in return I always had to take him to bar three in this blog.

   Our second stop was to a relatively new club that features male strippers. We entered the bar and were personally greeted by the owner/bartender. He welcomed us and thanked us for coming. That scores big points in my book! We purchased a beer each and sat down next to a stage where the dancers would take turns dancing when they were not moving around and receiving tips from the patrons. The small bar was full of customers, an even mix of male and female. Unfortunately, there were only two dancers in the bar, one a tall slim dancer that did not appeal to any of us. The second dancer however, was shorter with a compact body, tight butt, and very cute face. After about 10 minutes in the bar he made his way to where we were sitting. We tipped him and chatted with him a few minutes. He left to go visit with a group of ladies and while on his way stopped by to tell the other dancer that we were tippers. The second dancer came over to us but we did not tip him. It was our opinion that he should find another line of work so we didn't want to encourage him to stay. Our one serious complaint was that there were only two dancers even though the club was full of customers. The more attractive dancer of the two was receiving most of the tips and was having to work the entire room which didn't provide much personal attention to each individual patron.

   Our recommendations to the second bar include continue greeting guest just as you are doing. It makes a difference. Hire extra dancers for busy nights. If the customers do not feel they are getting enough attention, they will stop spending money at your establishment. They are coming to this particular bar because of the male strippers and they want to tip and interact with them. If this is not possible, then they will go elsewhere. We will return to this bar and give it another try. We feel that the foundation for a successful male strip club has been laid and can be built upon.

   The third bar stirred no complaints from anyone in our group. The bar is not known as a male stripper bar. It has a variety of things going on which includes male dancers on Friday and Saturday nights. There is an area of the bar that is set aside for the male dancers. This area has a dancer pole with very comfortable seating around it. There were two dancers rotating for the night. The first dancer was slim, with a nicely defined body. Several customers tipped him and seemed to enjoy his attention. We watched but didn't tip. We were waiting for the second dancer who we knew from several previous visits to this club. Once he took the stage and 'pole' our night was set. For us there was no need to go anywhere else. We all three enjoyed a couple of lap dances each and tipped the dancer during his sessions. And left with smiles on our faces.

   We have no recommendations for the third bar. We enjoyed the experience just as it unfolded. The dancer greeted us when he took the stage, remembering us from previous visits, gave each one of us a hug, and thanked us as we tipped. Sure, that sounds simple, and yes, he was working us for tip money. We know the game. But so does he. He gave us the attention we enjoyed and we slipped dollar bills into his very form-fitting underwear (and beyond! Woot!) For our next trip to this same location, we will skip bar one, check out bar two, and if necessary, spend the evening at bar three.

   I have a few more thoughts about the night that I want to share. Every time we have visited bar one there have been different dancers and bartenders. There has never been any kind of consistency. This is unusual to me. Although dancers and bartenders come and go, there is usually a few who are successful and stay for longer periods of time. The dancer in bar three has danced at this club for several years. Everyone knows him by name. The customers love him and are always glad to find out that he is dancing. So, this tells me that quality is always more important than quantity. If you can get quantity (many male strippers) and quality at the same time, then your business should boom! But of course, every club can't be Swinging Richard's in Atlanta. Now that is quantity and quality!

I have been extremely busy for the past month and have seen very little time online. It has all been good things in my life. However, I wanted to let eveyone know that I have not abandoned my post at the edge of All Things Male Strippers. REWIND: Where's The Beef?

   Back in the '80s there was a commercial for Wendy's where an elderly woman buys a hamburger at the drive-thru window. When she opens up the bun, the meat pattie is tiny. She then exclaims, "Where's The Beef?" This became a catch phrase of the time. You can find the commercial by searching for 'Where's the Beef?' on YouTube. For a while I've had a small pet peeve that I've wanted to address but was waiting for the right moment to address it. The moment has come. I am wondering Where's The Beef? in club and event advertising? Specifically, why do gay clubs create posters for advertising to gay men and announce a drag show and go-go dancers but only put pictures of drag queens on the poster? Let me first state that I do enjoy a quality show performed by one or more drag queens. So, for all my drag queen friends, and I know the divas that you are, please realize that I am not trying to steal the spotlight from you. I'm just trying to give our show, event and club promoters a little guidance.

   Gay men and straight women like exotic male dancers!!! When a male revue show for the ladies creates advertising, they do not place their main emphasis on the Master of Ceremonies for the night. Unless of course, that Master of Ceremonies is a hottie, or perhaps one of the dancers as well. Doesn't it make sense that you would place a pic of a hot guy wearing little or no clothing on a poster to attract gay men to your club, event, or show, instead of a single photo of a man dressed as a woman? The female impersonators, illusionists, and drag queens all have a place in the enterainment world and provide a lot of fun nights for both the gay and straight crowds. If a drag queen is the headliner, then definitely give her the biggest pic and text. But, if you truly have hot male dancers and you want to attract the gay men then "show some skin and the crowd will come in".

   Here's my practical take on the matter. When you advertise a drag show you are already going to appeal to those who are wanting to attend a drag show and support their favorite "queens". If you add a sexy pic of one or more go-go dancers or male strippers to your banners, posters, etc., then you add another element and can appeal also to the fans of exotic male dancers who might not otherwise attend a drag show. Doesn't that make sense?

   My goal here is not to take anything away from the female impersonators but to help bring in a larger audience to the club or event. Of course, there are drag shows that do not have go-go dancers or exotic male dancers before, during or after the show. In that case, there is no need to promote male dancers. But, when there are exotic male dancers before, during or after the show, let them be seen and not just read about in the text. The images are a much more powerful draw to gay men than text.

It Will Be On Facebook Tonight ~ Male Stripper Photo Albums

   The Facebook phenomena as well as Twitter and other social networking sites, have created a world where everyone can be a journalist (blogger), photographer or videographer. And it is all instant. Although it is not my thing, I have friends who post where they are, what they are doing, and who they are with, several times a day. I like a little more privacy than that. However, the reality is...your picture will be taken and words will be written about you. It is my hope that most fans of exotic male dancers will have the courtesy to ask permission before they start capturing images on their phones or digital cameras, but unfortunately that is not always the case.

   I'll be the first to admit that I LOVE discovering new pics and videos of exotic male dancers on Facebook, etc. I of course cannot be in many places at one time, and being able to see who is dancing at other clubs, helps me to keep up on the hottest dancers and clubs in the industry. Fans are also able to get a preview of clubs and events that they want to attend.

   I encourage all exotic male dancers to use the social network craze to their advantage. Ask friends you trust to take photos or videos of you at "work" and post to Facebook and tag you. By doing this, you can make sure there will be quality images of you available to any potential tippers. If you are serious about making a decent income dancing, I recommend that you use a quality photographer and have promotional photos taken. Create a photo album on Facebook and allow everyone to view it. Images will catch the attention of the audience you want to attract. There isn't much excitement attached to an advertisement for a club when it states there are go-go dancers, but never shows any pictures of them. Let's just put it out there. Show some skin and the crowd will come in.

Doing It Texas Style! ~ Exotic Male Dancer ~ Dorian

   Let's just state it up front, loud and clear -- You can't go wrong if Dorian is dancing for your club or event. Dorian brings the party! First of all, just look at that smile. (No, not there, I said, "Look at that smile!") One glance and you can't help but smile back! It is contagious. And then of course, you have noticed that he possesses other assets that could possibly catch your attention. For instance, a tall, killer body, handsome face, and muscles all around. And yes, there is the obvious "blessing" below the belt. I tried to select more pictures that didn't emphasize the pouch of his briefs but I wasn't very successful. I kept being drawn in that direction. Hmmmmm, imagine that!

   Not to break the hearts of the gay men reading this blog, but Dorian does love the ladies. At the same time, let it be known that Dorian is a balanced and confident entertainer, he dances for the guys and girls equally. But in his private time, he prefers to be with the ladies. I heard that cheer from my female readers! Go girls! That works for me. With his hot looks, and professional demeanor, he'll make sure everyone in the house is having a good time.

   Dorian caught our attention several months ago when we noticed that he danced at several different clubs in the Dallas area. We liked what we saw and selected him as one of our Males In Motion Valentine's back in February. We've also chosen to add his pic in a few of our blogs.

Selecting A Male Stripper For Your Event Or Private Party

   Honestly, I do not like having to cold call a male stripper agency to hire a male stripper for a party or club appearance. Unless you have previous experience with the agency, you never know exactly what you are getting. For example, there are several websites that advertise for male strippers across the United States. It is amazing how many of these have the same dancers in their galleries of photos. One dancer in Miami, FL could also be listed in Portland, OR and you pay the same rate. So, if I select a dancer from the website for a party in Portland, is he in Miami or Portland? And if he is in Miami does he fly all the way to Portland, OR at his expense for my party? Well, of course not! The websites are fraudulent. They may have dancers but they are not always the ones shown in the photos. And I've also noticed something else about these photos, they are the same photos the dancers were using almost 8 years ago when I started Males In Motion. I need to learn their secrets to see how they keep from aging. *Wink* In order to help my blog readers avoid a costly mishap I want to provide a little guidance on selecting a male stripper for your event or private party.

   First, if you are selecting a male stripper from an online source based on the picture of a hot guy, then be sure the first question you ask when the phone is answered, is.."Will I get the same dancer at my party that you are showing on your website?" And if he has a name beside his pic, be sure and say his name. If the answer is no, then please realize that you have already been deceived once, do you want to continue with this agency? If you do want to continue because maybe this is the only agency advertising in your area, then ask them to email pics of their current dancers to you so you can make a selection. If they say they do not have any, then hang up. If they have them and will send them, then ask if the pics are current. If they say no, then ask them when the pics were taken, or go a step further and ask them to take a pic of the dancers with their cell phone and text them to you. If they still make excuses, hang up. If you don't hang up at this point, then you deserve what you get!

   I am speaking from experience. A few years ago I hired a dancer to pose for promotional pictures for my website. Being naive at the time, I based my decision mainly on the "hot" pics of this dancer that were posted on his website. And I assure you he was hot and the promotional pics would have been too, except when he arrived, he looked nothing like his pics. I had been smart enough to ask him if the pics were current. He said they were about a year old and he had put on about 30 lbs. in muscle since they were taken. That was my red flag but I was really happy thinking I was getting a dancer that was so hot, so I continued. Well, as you might guess, the muscle was "table muscles". He had gained at least 30 lbs. and although there was a hint of the former dancer in his face. He did not look like the pic. He had also died his hair which gave him a totally different look as well. So, I was the moron that day. But even after that, I was still trying to deny my goof up, I went ahead with the photo shoot. In my head I created this fantasy that I could crop the pics and make them work. It was a costly mistake. And one, I will not make again.

   If at all possible, hire a dancer that you have seen "caught in the act". In other words, a male dancer that you have seen at a club, a private party, or even in a YouTube video. At least that way you have an idea of what you are getting. By selecting a male stripper that you have actually seen, you can assess his value based on the following criteria:

Positive interaction with the audience...It's all about customer service.
Physical appearance...Will his physical attributes add to your party atmosphere?
Costume selection...what does he wear and how good does it look on him?
Dancing ability...if you are wanting more than just "eye candy", can he dance?
Price of the experience...is he worth what you will have to pay?
Audience Type...Is he the right male stripper for the audience you will bring together?

   Let's look at each of the guidelines in more detail. First, how does this dancer react with the audience? Is he friendly and does he express thanks when tipped? You want a dancer that is approachable and acknowledges a tip when a guest gives him one. Watch out for the extreme social animals as well. Does he spend most of his session talking to his friends rather than doing his job?

   Does this dancer have the physical appearance that will appeal to your party guests? There is a wide variety of body types and looks in exotic male dancers. Some fans like slim, young twink dancers, others like muscular body builders, and there are also those that like the heavier, hairy bear types. I personally like the jocks and athletic looking guys. So, evaluate your crowd and try to select a dancer that will make the party more successful.

   What will the male dancer be wearing at your party? Will you make that call or will you allow him to select his own costumes? If you have a preference, let him know what you would like. If you do not have a preference, tell him to bring several different costume options. That way, if you don't like one, there will be others to choose from.

   Can he actually dance? I've said it many times before, there are some exotic male dancers who can really dance and are fun to watch. They can be sensual and teasing and add a lot to your party. There are other dancers who cannot dance. However, if they are there mostly for eye candy, do you really care whether they can dance or not? That is your call. My obvious preference is eye candy that can dance.

   How much is it going to cost to have this dancer perform at your party? Is he worth it? Evaluate his ability to add to your party. Also, make sure you ask how long he will be dancing. If you need him for 2 hours and he schedules you and charges you an amount for only one hour, your party favor will walk out the door before the party is over. It all depends on the type of event you are planning and how an exotic male dancer fits into the plan.

   NOTE: THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!! What type of audience will be at your party? Will the crowd consist of ladies only, men only, a mixture of both? If it is ladies only, you might want to consider hiring a dancer that is straight. If the crowd is gay men only well, of course, you might consider hiring a gay dancer. If you watched a dancer previously at another event and aren't sure and couldn't tell, then it doesn't matter. Some dancers have the ability to dance for men or women and can treat each one equally. Some cannot. I say this from experience. I have been to male strip clubs, and have watched male revue shows where the gay guys were much more friendly to the men and where the straight guys were distant until a female approached them. Getting a positive response from the male dancer will add to the experience your audience members will have at your party or event. A negative response will be remembered as well.

   I hope this helps in your selection of a male stripper for your event or private party. There are a lot of excellent male dancers out there. Find the one(s) that best fit your event or private party. And please, encourage your "crowd" to tip the boys...even if you are paying them. Tipping provides an interaction between audience member and male stripper that is fun, intimate, and will help create sordid tales about your event. Until next time, send me a party invitation.

There is a rumor going around that Efren Rodriguez has a monkey that once went down on a mermaid. It hasn't been confirmed but I have spoken to people who say it is true. Well, I haven't really spoken to them but I have read their posts on Facebook. So of course, it must be true. This and many other amazing partial conversations can be found in the world of Efren Rodriguez. I have often wondered just what I must have missed before I friended Efren on Facebook. Here's a quote from a recent post, "My favorite thing to do when I am stressed out, and tired and I have a day off is to get food from jack in the box and watch like 5 episodes of south park back to back." Anyone that likes south park gets a plus on my list. I mean laughter is good...mmmmkay!

A favorite Efren post of mine is, "I can't see my toes cuz my d*ck gets in the way". That explains a confession that I need to make. You see, I am unable to hear or read some of the funny things that Efren says because I get distracted by the pouch. It happens like this, I first innocently notice his sexy eyes, great smile, pretty boy looks, but then my eyes begin to wander. They pause on that chest, well, you've seen it. And then they work their way down to the pouch...the pouch...oh, and did I mention the pouch? I'm sure you can understand.

Male Strippers Who Stroke...

   Alright, I admit it! The title of this blog, "Male Strippers Who Stroke..." is a tease. And the title is one of the major reasons you decided to read this blog. If you are curious about the real story behind the blog title, keep reading and I'll fill you in.

   The main goal for any club owner is to make a financial profit. There are those who have already made their fortunes and invest in bars or clubs as tax write-offs or as pet projects, but those are few and far between. The majority of club owners are in it to hopefully have some fun, but definitely to make a financial profit and enjoy the standard of living they desire. With this fact as our base it becomes clear that the exotic male dancer is hired to dance in a bar or club to assist the club owner in generating revenue and making a financial profit. You can argue that it is to have nice "eye candy" or "sexy scenery" but if the night club isn't making money then the doors will eventually shut and everyone goes home to stay.

   If the exotic male dancer wants to be hired for the best gigs, and keep a full calendar of jobs, he must find ways to contribute to the profit of the bar or club owner. One easy way that this can be accomplished is to develop a following of fans. If you are hired to dance at a club and each time you show up, a full house of your fans show up too, then the club owner is more likely to invite you back. By bringing a following, the exotic male dancer is contributing to door cover receipts (if one is charged), bar receipts, and tips given to the entertainment, bartenders, staff, etc. This is a win-win for the bar or club owner.

   When I titled this blog "Male Strippers Who Stroke...", I am simply talking about stroking the egos of your fans. Please don't interpret this as being insincere, I am simply advising a dancer to pay attention to their fans. When someone tips you, let them know that you are grateful with a hug or kiss on the cheek. They are tipping not because they feel obligated, but because they are attracted to you for one reason or another. Spend a few minutes getting to know these people who are tipping you and create a following. When you bend down to give that hug, let them know where you'll be dancing the next night, or next weekend and invite them to join you. All it takes is, "hope you'll be there". You aren't promising anything extra, you're only expressing a desire that they go with you.

   When you show up to dance at a gig and the house is filled with a crowd that already likes you, then first of all, your tips will be good, the owner will be happy for the bar tabs that came with you, and your fans will enjoy being a part of your night. This all adds up to requests for return engagements at the same venue. The old saying applies, "If you'll scratch my back, then I'll scratch your's." If you help take care of the owner, then it is more likely that he or she will help take care of you.

   I have walked in enough snow this winter to last me several winters. And the frozen wet weather has not been sexy for me in any way. I prefer the tease that comes with wet underwear, rather than wet overcoats. I do not have the luxury of flying off to the Caribbean so with the approaching warmer weather my thoughts have begun to drift toward fantasies of hot men in skimpy swim trunks at the pool or the beach.    I have a request for all exotic male dancers (or even audience members) who participate in wet underwear contests, please wear white underwear. I promise that white underwear will generate the best responses from the crowd and if the contest is selected based on an audience's noisy response, then it's a no brainer. On a more personal level, I would like to see you wearing white underwear because when it gets wet, I get a more revealing view of your junk. Hey, I'm just being real here.

   Wet Underwear Contests are sublime, however, the type of wet contest that I most enjoy is one where exotic male dancers slide under the shower nozzle. If you happen to live in or be visiting Chicago, stop by the club Spin on Friday nights and watch their shower show and contest. Fabion, pic right, was also chosen as one of our 2010 Top 10 Exotic Male Dancers, and you just might catch him getting soaking wet at Spin.

   One of my favorite shower shows happens at Boxers-N-Briefs near St. Louis, MO. The shower is encased in glass like a phone booth. It is elevated in the middle of the bar. You can sit anywhere around the U-shaped bar and watch the show. Throughout a night one or more dancers will enter the shower, fully nude I might add, and soap up, wash up, and rinse off in full view. After the show, the dancer walks around the bar holding an empty ice bucket and the patrons drop their tips down inside. The shower show at Boxers-N-Briefs is very entertaining to say the least.

   From the start of this blog I want to make it very clear that in the world of the exotic male dancer, the phrase, "Different strokes for different folks" rings true. The opinion of the exotic male dancer fan is what matters. For example, there are male dancer "bears" who are beefy and hairy, and some are even overweight. And their fans love them all the same. There is no ONE SIZE FITS ALL philosophy that will work for all fans. My personal opinion is that if you have fans who love to watch you dance then go-for-it and keep them happy, even if you are 85 years old and a resident at a long-term care facility. We could only hope to be so fortunate in our golden years.

   However, when we mention an exotic male dancer most of the public has an idea in their head that fits the Chippendale dancers, or the dancers at their favorite local club. And it is the dancer who resembles this male dancer image that will most often discover the most job opportunities being presented to them. With that being said, I will concentrate on fitness that gets attention from fans.

   With the New Year celebrations for 2011 came many resolutions. And I think it would be safe to say that a lot of them involved better physical fitness and nutrition. I made one of those, and I am in the process of altering my lifestyle back toward a more healthy path. I admit it, I strayed into the world of many carbs and must find my way back. In my search for nutrition tips, workout plans, and meditation toward those ends, I have found a few links I would like to suggest to those of you who may be making changes in your own lives.

   The first recommendation I want to make is Scott Herman Fitness. Scott is an actor, model, and fitness guru. You may remember Scott from a past season of the Real World. Being a member of the cast of the show may have given Scott some notoriety but he is more than a celebrity enjoying the ride of fame. He is passionate and committed about helping others achieve their fitness goals. I believe his ideas, inspiration, and programs can help anyone who is willing to follow his fitness program. And, I must confess that he is quite enjoyable to look at as well. Hey, when I am trying to alter my lifestyle, I need all the inspiration I can get. But, Scott is not just a pretty boy, he knows what he is talking about and sincerely hopes to help make a difference.

   Scott Herman Fitness also has a You Tube channel. Scott demonstrates many different workout routines that you can watch and follow along. And there are clips discussing other fitness related topics of interest. New clips are added weekly giving you added inspiration and encouragement on a regular basis.

I simply believe that his training and educational instructions are a good place to start in your personal fitness plan. If you want to see handsome men dressed in a variety of different fashions, do an online search for male model websites, there are dozens of those. Finding sites for men in underwear is also easy.    This review is going to be in the form of diary entries for the days that I logged in and enjoyed the show from Montreal. In summary, the website, nudemaledancers.com, still has hot dancers well worth watching, and new features that enhance the experience. In the diary entries below I will make note of dancers I especially liked. I will describe responses from other chat participants. And I will let you know who was discovered while exploring the dancer archives, photos and videos. This review experience took place between Monday, January 10 and Sunday, January 16.

MONDAY
   I started by clicking on the advertising link for nudemaledancers.com in the right column of this blog. That lets you know up front that Males In Motion is still an advertising affiliate with nudemaledancers.com. So, as I have previously stated, that means that I have a motivation to give nudemaledancers.com a positive review. However, I also possess business integrity and if I feel the website is not up to a certain standard, I will let that be known. Also, I want my advertisers to reflect positively on me, and if they do not, then I remove them from my advertising list. With that being said, the fact that there is still advertisements for nudemaledancers.com associated with my blogs, means that I have found the website to have maintained is quality for 2011.

   I signed up for the trial period option for $14.95. There was a U.S. Dollar fee added of $1.95, making the total $16.90 for seven days. Let me make it clear at this point that unless you cancel you will be charged $29.99 at the end of seven days for the next month's subscription. If you do not want to continue, remember to do this at least one day before your trial period runs out.

   Once I had selected the option, paid, and logged in, I was a little lost for a minute or two because things had changed. In the previous website experience, when you logged in you were given a static window and the view changed based on the onsite cam boy's choices. With the new version you can open a chat window, bar video window, and a jack-off room video window. I opened all three and left them as smaller windows on my desktop. I was able to expand them individually to fit my monitor screen if I wanted a larger view (and I often did). For chat, select the video chat option from the chat window. I chose to deny the software to use my camera and sound. The chat still worked fine but I was not on camera for others to view. You can change that option within the chat window at any time if you so choose. That's all for the technical information. It is needed so I include it, but now...let's get to the boyz!

   During the two hour viewing that I did on Monday night I watched 8 different dancers on stage. The format included two songs for each dancer. He seemed to be popular with everyone. The chat participants liked him as well. Once I saw him dance his two sessions, I could understand why he was so popular. Like most of the dancers at the Stockbar in Montreal, from which nudemaledancers.com is broadcast, J.P. has a great body and handsome face. But he also possesses that certain something that exudes sex appeal, making him sexy as hell. It translates well through streaming video.

   I will add additional reviews of this site at various times throughout the coming year. I like to visit the website and check on new dancers, and see the great bodies and large endowments often. Exotic Male Dancer Matt - Tribal Fires in Austin

   The first time I discovered Matt I experienced the "Dayum!" reaction. Males In Motion has conducted two separate polls on what color of underwear our readers like to see on male strippers (before they take it off). The first poll was on our website three years ago, and the other was featured on our blog during the most recent holiday period. In each poll the favorite underwear color was white. We can understand why that color was chosen. White underwear is usually the most see-through and looks the best in wet underwear contests. Also, the way shadows fall around the male basket that is covered in white fabric will often leave very little to the imagination. We're all for that!

Introducing My New Blog: Budget Travel Tips For Gay Males Seeking Exotic Experiences

   Keeping myself current in the exotic male dancer industry requires that I do a bit of traveling. I try to live within a budget and when I visit a bar or club to watch male dancers and write reviews, I want to have plenty of cash for tips. It's all about the boyz! And as I have said many times before, when it comes to hot male dancers, I am easy and my money disappears much too quickly. So, over the years I have developed a few strategies that help me save those dollar bills in other areas. This gives me funds when I decide I want to visit the VIP room with that hot blond dancer. And then of course, if I want to follow up with the lean and defined dancer with the tribal tattoo on his left thigh, I can do that as well.

   I had started writing a blog about traveling to cities to visit clubs with exotic male dancers, and began to think of so many tips, ideas, and information for saving money, that I knew there was no way all the information would fit into a single blog. At that point the little light bulb flashed above my head and I had an idea. The thought popped into my head "How about starting a new blog for gay men who like to travel and have exotic experiences, but must stay within a tight financial budget." So, with that focus in mind, Males In Travel was born.

   I have started the new blog this month as a companion blog to Males In Motion. Ladies (and my straight male friends), I am not trying to exclude you and I feel that the tips and information and the pics of men will be of interest to you. However, in this case, I felt I could only write about what I know personally. So, the focus of the new blog is for gay men. And to all readers, please remember that this blog is for men who need to travel on a budget. I will not be writing about the circuit parties, resorts in tropical islands, or luxury hotel stays, that is of course, unless they can be found at a discount. The focus will be on less famous venues where gay men can have a great time for less money. And I hope everyone will like the idea of saving money.

   One feature of each blog in Males In Travel is an Eye Candy section. This section will feature an exotic male who for one reason or another has inspired us. He may be our latest online crush, an exotic male dancer, a porn star, an escort, a masseuse, or the hottest guy we saw that week on Facebook. We've added a pic here of Damien Diego from collegedudes.com for a sample. However, he is wearing more clothes in this pic than is the norm for the Males In Travel blogs.

   The focus of the new blog is exotic travel experiences for gay men on a budget. This involves all the things that we like to do when we are not on the clock at work. We are gay men so sex figures prominently in that equation, so we hope to assist our readers in finding those locations for a quick "hook-up" or a search for that special someone for the long haul. We will also be throwing in a few suggestions for pampering yourself with an exotic massage, or maybe an exotic visitor to your hotel room. We hope you'll come along for the ride.

There are many great clubs in North America that host exotic male dancers. And just as we did in our 2010 Males In Motion Top 10 Exotic Male Dancers List, we have to go with what we know. The clubs we are listing below are the ones we have had contact with in one way or another during the past year. The basic criteria for the list is of course, hot male dancers. Then we consider the bartenders and staff, and the physical facility itself. And last of all, we consider the type of experiences that we, or our blog readers have had while at the club. The bars/clubs should be considered as a group and are listed in no certain order.

Swinging Richards ~ Atlanta (Nude)
Swinging Richards is the premiere club for those who love exotic male strippers. The dancers are ALWAYS hot and approachable. The VIP Room experience is one of the best. Swinging Richards sets a standard for a gentlemen's club that caters to gay men.

Club Arrow ~ Nashville (Nude)(Closed)
We were pleasantly surprised at our experience this past May at Club Arrow. (Surprised, in a good way.) Being our first visit to Club Arrow we weren't sure what to expect. It is also the first 'bring-your-own-booze' club that we had ever visited. The dancers were top notch, the staff exceptional, and we had hoped to return. However, due to lease issues explained on their Facebook page, the club has closed. We still felt our experience warranted placing them in our Top 10 for 2010.

Our Review of Club Arrow

Stockbar ~ Montreal (Nude)
We have only visited the Stockbar through their website broadcast at nudemaledancers.com. Our first visit was about five years ago and since then we continue to subscribe and enjoy the talented Canadian boys whenever we have time. Through our online chats with those who have visited the Montreal club, we have heard nothing but cheers and positive feedback. We haven't entered the doors of the club yet, but we WILL get there.

The Tin Room ~ Dallas (Not Nude)
One of the best single night visits to a club I have ever had! It was the kind of night that is unexpected, impromptu, and "hot as hell". When I return to Dallas, The Tin Room is first on my list of places to visit. And the funny thing is, I didn't know anything about the club when I arrived in Dallas. But through word-of-mouth I found out it was the place I needed to go. And they were so right!

Boxers-N-Briefs ~ near St. Louis, MO (Nude)
"No, I'm not going to St. Louis again." Those are the words spoken by my partner. He loves Boxers-N-Briefs but any time we start to take a long weekend, he knows that St. Louis will be on my list of possible destinations. I have always found a male dancer that kept me entertained at Boxers-N-Briefs. It is where I experienced my first private lap dance. And was the first all-nude bar that I ever visited. So, it will always hold a top spot for me. I also spoke to a former bar owner this month who said he was first "inspired" to own a bar because of his experiences at Boxers-N-Briefs.

MJs ~ Los Angeles (Not Nude)
I will admit I have never been here. But through word-of-mouth promotion, and seeing their posts and photo albums on Facebook, I cannot wait to make it to Southern California and visit MJs. From what I have heard and seen, MJs is the type of bar we all wish we had nearby: hot dancers, the best events, and an over-the-top game plan from management. We applaud their efforts and hope to experience it soon.

Gigi's Bar - Detroit (Not Nude)
I love the dancers at this bar. Many of them were previously also dancing at Backstreet before it closed. I've followed some of these guys this year. They are cute as hell, have attitude (in a good way), and seem to be enjoying the time of their lives. I've chatted with some of them online and they are a lot of fun. Detroit has been beaten up over the past few years and we are proud to make these guys a part of our top 10. They keep the party going and the boys dancing despite what others would consider hard times. Top 10 Cheers for Gigi's And Detroit!!!

Splash ~ New York City - Friday Night's with F*Word (Not Nude)
By now everyone that reads my blogs knows about Michael Bernal's photos from F*Word at Splash. I continue to enjoy his work and see the hot dancers, bartenders, and patrons from this club. I have received more positive feedback from my posts related to F*Word than most other sources this past year. Fans keep asking when are we taking a road trip to NYC for F*Word? With this selection comes the changing of the guard in Elk Grove Village, IL, a suburb of Chicago. The simplicity of the Zippers experience is it's best drawing card. Zippers is a neighborhood bar that showcases well-built and defined, and/or well-endowed exotic male dancers. The crowd of mostly gay men go to Zippers to watch hot almost naked men dance while they enjoy their favorite alcoholic beverage. Over the past few years when I have had the opportunity to visit Zippers, I have found a consistent experience. They are not flashy but focus on the basics that we as male stripper fans hope to find in a bar of it's kind.

Male Stripper Music Mix...Hey Mr. DJ, You've got to get the music right!

   A DJ who is aware of the exotic male dancer entertainment experience is crucial to the success of a male stripper or go-go boy. When it is done right, the night flows, the dancer can get into the mood, and the fans are enticed and therefore encouraged to tip. I have been to clubs where the DJs are excellent and bring the entertainment experience up several notches. And I have also been to clubs where the music sends the whole evening into a tail spin.

   A DJ does not work at a club to play the music they prefer. You say, What? Their preferences and musical tastes have absolutely nothing to do with their job. Let me explain. A great DJ evaluates the needs of the audience first and then makes selections on what will help create the best experience for the customers. Who are these people and what type of music would make their experience positive and encourage them to come back to the club in the future? And this could change every night because you never really know what crowd is going to show up. On the next level, for an entertainment venue involving male go-go dancers or male strippers the DJ must consider the needs of the entertainers. The main question to ask is "What music needs to be played that will inspire the dancers to dance in a way that will encourage the customers to first stop and watch them, and second, get out of their seats and go tip them?

   Let me give you two negative examples. I was at an all-nude male club when a new, young male dancer stepped up to the stage. The dancer in this case just happened to be caucasion. The DJ began to play a mix of urban music and the guy was lost. He started out trying to go with the music but you could tell it wasn't his thing. He then bounced a little trying to keep a beat. Finally he just walked around on the stage and did some posing. Fortunately, he had been given other "talents" that gave my experience as an audience member some redeeming value.

   I have seen male dancers of differing ethnic backgrounds who could have torn up the urban style music and had the crowd dancing with them. But this was not the music needed for this specific dancer. If the dancer had provided the music to the DJ, then someone (the DJ, manager, another dancer, a caring fan, or honest friend) should have let this guy know he needed to make a more appropriate musical choice. If the DJ chose the music for this dancer, then he needs to be fired.

   On another occasion I was at a club where go-go boys are the featured entertainment. They promote the number of dancers they have and how "hot" they all are. In my opinion, they were hot and there were several different dancers in the facility on this evening. However, the DJ seemed to be in his own world. I can only guess that he had selected music that he liked without any consideration to whether it was danceable or not. The dancers spent more time walking around the bar, looking at themselves in the mirror, and swinging around on the pole without trying to match any beat. It was rather bizarre. I soon became bored and left early.

   I won't tell you the locations of the first two examples. I did send emails and let them know how I felt in a tactful way. Now in contrast...Zippers in Dallas, TX is what some might call a neighborhood dive bar. I love this place. It exists simply for the purpose of mostly gay men having a place to have a drink or two and watch hot, young, well-built dancers. It is simple, perfect, and it works. And one of the reasons why it works (besides the hot dancers) is the music. Every time I have visited, they are playing music that inspires the dancers to dance, and the patrons while sipping their drinks, are watching. The music mix has a beat, seduction, and sexual energy. Honestly, I really don't think anyone at Zippers stopped and analyzed the music to see if it fit all of this criteria. But who cares, what they are doing works. I know it works because on my last visit to Zippers I exited the bar without a dime in my pocket thanks to the dancer Cory. But it was my pleasure.

   The classic below by Ginuwine becomes one of my favorites of all time when paired with the right male stripper. Listen to it again and just try to tell me you aren't motivated in some way! To all the male strippers out there. If I walk into the club where you are performing and you dress (and undress) as a cowboy and seductively dance to this song. You are guaranteed a good financial night! WooHOO!

   And now let's try something with a Latin flavor. Pitbull's "I Know You Want Me". The message in this song is simple and the beat is perfectly danceable. For this song I want to see an exotic male dancer down to the underwear or jockstrap.

   Yello's "Oh Yeah!" has been used in many movies, commercials, etc., and some would say it is so ancient. However, it still makes you move. I'm not suggesting that a DJ crawl around in the tombs of dusty ol' music. What I am suggesting is that mixed in with today's top hits, that they add a few recognizable "fun spots" from the past... Like, "Oh Yeah!" This song let's us make fun of ourselves and puts a smile on the faces of the crowd. Plus, it's very danceable for the boyz! Watch the tipping rise after a song like this is played, particularly if the dancers will look around the room and give a few one-on-one smiles to the patrons.

   I saw you, you were sitting their dancing in your chair while that song was playing. See what the music can do! *SMILE* In my fantasy, as this song plays, I see the male stripper in costume: baseball player who strips down to jock with cap on of course; leather biker who removes the chaps and vest and strips down to red thong with boots still on of course; or possibly a 1950s government agent wearing black suit, black tie, white shirt, hat and black sunglasses who strips down to nothing but keeps the goods covered with his hat (at least for a while).

Club Review: End Up Club ~ Tulsa, Oklahoma (Second Review)

   The End Up Club is marking its three year anniversary this month. We congratulate them for this accomplishment. We dropped in on a recent Saturday night to see how far the club has come in its three year history. I actually bar hopped that night and visited End Up twice. For the first visit, I went by myself while my significant other attended a meeting. Tulsa is a location that I can easily get to from where I live and since End Up is in my region, I have always wanted this bar to succeed. I'm not sure how they measure success but since they are still here three years later, they are due some credit for being able to stay around. The bar and night club business can be brutal.

   Upon entering the bar I was greeted by a dancer who was playing pool. He was the only dancer that I recognized from a previous visit. There is a lot of turn over in both dancers and bartenders. As you know, being greeted is something that I think is crucial for the success of any club. I walked up to the bar and the bartender was busy refilling the ice container. He apologized and said he would be right with me, and he was. He was assisted by another bartender or barback and they were very attentive to the needs of the customers. As part of the anniversary celebration, the well drinks for the night were $2.00. So, I had one or two. So far, so good. I want to add here that every time that I have been to the End Up, the bartenders have been exceptional. They are always quick to wait on you, and they do it with a friendly smile, and no attitude. Thanks guys, it makes a difference.

   I made my way around the club and took a seat at the far side of the bar near the pole dancing area and watched a couple of dancers at the pole. Let me stop here and say, the male dancers at the End Up Club are almost always young twinks. I have visited the club several times over the past 3 years and although the faces and names change, the body types do not. I'm not sure if this is a preference of the owner, or if this is the type of dancers available for a club of this kind in the area. For those of you who like the twink physique, this is your gold mine. With that in mind, the young twink mentality is there as well...a little less mature, a little less polished, but they are cute and can be a lot of fun. We will say that there were a couple who probably need to get a membership at a local gym, but most of the dancers were very fit. But I probably need to remind myself at this point that it's "different strokes for different folks" and there are fans who like the cubs.

   I watched a tall, cute and slim dancer with dark hair work the pole. He then received a few tips from nearby customers. When he finished his session at the pole, he stopped by and asked me how I was doing. He went by the name of Trevor. We talked for a while and I discussed Males In Motion and a few other things about exotic male dancers while stuffing a few tips in his underwear. He was wearing the Papi brand and said he liked those best because of the different styles they have available. It being part of my personality, I dropped a few tips I call pearls of wisdom about exotic male dancers and working the crowd. He was very polite and listened. After a few minutes, he left and made his way around the room talking to other customers in the bar. Trevor did his job, gave me a little attention, listened, and then worked the rest of the room. It worked for me! And on any future visit, I will see if Trevor is still working there and drop a few dollars his way.

   I left to pick up my partner and we returned to the End Up about 30 minutes later. When we returned the same dancer at the pool table greeted us. Trevor was at the pole again and stepped to the side area to do a lap dance. He was fun to watch. He stopped by our table and spoke with us for a few minutes. The dancer who had greeted us at the door came by as well. Another dancer had replaced Trevor at the pole. He was a small well-defined dancer. He wore red underwear which for his small stature, was filled out nicely. He was very talented in his work at the pole and entertaining to watch.

   Leather is sexy! I didn't realize just how sexy it can be until this past September when I found myself at the Dallas Eagle, a club devoted to fans of leather and other fetish lifestyles. There was a pride celebration going on and the place was packed. I was with three friends who are all a part of the leather community. There was a variety of men wearing leather vests, pants, caps, harnesses, etc. At one point I turned and I know my jaw dropped open. There was a mature "leather daddy" dressed in vest, pants, boots, cap and no shirt who was holding on to a leash. At the other end of that leash was a tall, well-built hot, sexy, mighty fine, young man wearing only a white thong, black boots and a collar which was attached to the leash. The leather daddy was leading him around. My first thought was, "I want one of those."

   The male stripper who breaks out from time to time wearing an exotic leather costume, will attract much attention. That can only be a plus for making more in tips. The man in leather is an immediate turn-on for the many members of the leather fetish subculture located throughout the world. Almost every major U.S. city has a club or organization dedicated to the leather lifestyle. These organizations and/or clubs range from those who follow strict leather lifestyle protocols to those who are more relaxed about who they allow to participate in their events. For the savvy male stripper who is willing to accommodate this fetish and play the fantasy, additional entertainment opportunities and resulting income can be gained. And most definitely, the leather look is not limited to leather bars or events only.

   For the male stripper who is interested in working at events for the "leather crowd", we have a few suggestions and recommendations. First, if you are into leather and the leather scene, find out what local leather-related organizations host events that hire male strippers. If you have trouble finding a local leather group send me an email and I'll try to assist you. Then call that organization and request information about becoming a member. If you enjoy the lifestyle and are an insider, then you could be first in line to work at their events. Next, if you are not necessarily into the lifestyle but willing to provide the fantasy and wear leather, follow the information for contacts related to the event. Ask the organizers, etc., what the requirements are for the position. If you think the situation will work for you, ask for an audition.

   Very few would deny that wearing leather often carries with it the perception of danger and heated sexuality with the flicker of a distant memory of primeval man. Each person will interpret the fantasy in their own way whether based in the western cowboy with chaps and stetson; the biker with chaps, black boots, and vest; or the leather master and boy (for those who do not know, a "boy" is a term for submissive, not a child). Using these common visual references to his advantage, the male stripper provides the fantasy of the "wild one" who may have a sexual dungeon playroom in his basement. This is not necessarily the reality, but it plays well for a fantasy.

   In previous blogs we have discussed the western cowboy fantasy, we will focus on the biker and the master/boy scenarios in this blog. The male stripper version of the biker starts with black boots, add a leather thong or another of your favorite color, and layer a pair of black leather chaps on top of that. Include a black leather vest with no shirt underneath and select a black leather sentry cap, baseball cap, or bandana to top it all off. Of course, over the span of your session, the chaps should disappear and then the vest. At least that is in my fantasy.

   For the Master/boy scenario a little research should be done. There are certain things you can and cannot wear according to leather protocol and depending on your chosen role. If you can find out if there are going to be more Masters or "boys" in the crowd, dress in the role that will have the least participants attending because that will attract the larger number of potential tippers. The fantasy of the male stripper as boy or submissive works for me. The idea of a hot male stripper who is collared and on a leash, barely dressed in leather, and having to follow my every command is an excellent idea for my next birthday present. (Well, every command within reason and according to a safe, mutual agreement.) If you do decide to dance as a leather boy, remember to say, "Sir, Yes sir, Thank you sir!" for any tips you receive.

   The costumes described above barely scratch the surface of those available. I recommend that go-go boys invest in a leather harness, leather boots, leather shorts, and a leather thong. A collar and leash are accessories they might consider. However, on the leash, I would recommend that this only be worn when those attending the event are not in reach and able to grab it. This could cause injury and you know if a leash is there and the crowd has been drinking, there will be at least one person if not more, who will attempt to tug on the leash. Another costume option is a leather kilt, very gladiator,and it stirs up a whole different world of fantasies. Leather restraints and whips are sometimes included as a part of the leather lifestyle, but we'll save the topics of bondage and S&M for those more knowledgeable on the subject.

   He's just too damn cute! Recently I received an email from a blog reader requesting that I do a feature blog on Exotic Male Dancer Anthony in Chicago. And being the customer service oriented type of guy that I am, I said sure I'll check him out. It must have been fate because just a few days before I had looked up Anthony on facebook and been captivated by that face. (Well, I started at the face.) And so I immediately asked to friend Anthony on Facebook. (And NO, I didn't already know him Facebook! But I wanted to.)    I was surfing through Facebook one night looking at pics of exotic male dancers and stopped when I got to Travis Irons. Male Stripper Costume Tip 2: The Devil On My Shoulder...Seriously, what is that?

   By now most people have seen a television commercial, situation comedy, or a movie where one of the characters is faced with a decision. During the agony of making the decision, small versions of themselves or friends appear dressed as an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. The "mini-me's" in this case are representations of the forces of good and evil, or simply the right and wrong choices.

   I'm going to give these two munchkins a different job to do for this blog. The devil represents the go-go boy or stripper who has been working it for about an hour, he is sweating, and it won't be long before he is going to be "ripe". The little devil says, "You're having a great time. Keep working it. They're loving you!" The little angel on the other shoulder represents the honest, thoughtful and intelligent thought processes. The angel says, "Let's be real guy. You are starting to stink. You need to go take a shower or at least clean yourself up. Maybe change your clothes. Then come back out and accept more tips from the fans."

   I'm all about the angel at this moment. From the perspective of a fan of exotic male dancers, let me just say that it is a little disconcerting to make your way to a male dancer for the purpose of tipping him, only to be hit by a wave of pure reak that almost knocks you down. So, maybe I am exaggerating a bit, but you get my point. Yes, there are some people who possess a fetish for body smells (we'll just leave it there), but I don't happen to be one of them. And I am guessing that most fans feel the same.

   Ok, I'm being real here and not trying to turn your stomach or make you lose your lunch. But real story, I watched an acquaintance tip a dancer who I thought was really hot. When this friend returned to his seat he had a grimace on his face. To me that was kind of weird. So, I asked him why he had that look on his face. He told me that "The dancer smelled like ass." Ok, I know T-M-I but it is a reality. (Keep reading you'll get through this.) Personal hygiene is extremely important in the realm of exotic male dancer nudity and semi-nudity. Never think to yourself that no one will notice because I assure you someone will.

   I like a male stripper who wears a sexy fragrance. Now I don't want to greet the fragrance before I get to the stripper. Also, if I really, really like the fragrance, I'm more encouraged to request a visit to the VIP Room with the dancer.

   Now, let's turn-the-tables and come from the other direction. Respect the male strippers. Please consider a ritual of personal hygiene before you enter the male stripper's domain. It's only fair. As they say, "Turn about is fair play". I have it on good authority that you should wear musk or earthy smells during the winter and light, citrus type fragrances in the warmer weather.

   What is this place of mystery and legend? Rumors abound. We've heard some speak about a hidden band of conjurers who make their abode on the enchanted Isle of Manhattan.

How can you describe it? Dramatic? No doubt.

Theatrical? Oh yea! The visual experience alone is intoxicating. Vibrant and exotic costumes are worn by creative individuals all seeking a place where they can come together, dance and celebrate life.

   The mages call it F-WORD and it magically appears on Friday Nights at a club called Splash in New York City!

   The success or failure of themed nightclub parties is completely dependent on the people involved. The managers, show directors and promoters must possess a wild and vivid imagination that fuels a vision of what can be. The patrons and participants, must be willing to step up and turn the vision into reality, if for only one night. All the ingredients come together for F-WORD whether it be Cops And Robbers, Angels And Demons, Vampires, Superheroes, or anything you can imagine.

   If you are lucky enough to be close to NYC and able to participate in F-WORD, you soon realize that these guys know how to throw a party. And for Males In Motion to be interested in said parties, there has to be plenty of one thing... HOT EXOTIC MALE DANCERS. And they have them!!! You will also find exceptional eye-candy behind the bar and in the house.

   How do we know? Well, I'd like to say that I'm a regular participant but distance and the thing called "my life" keep me from being one.
However, the photographer Michael Bernal makes sure I never miss a beat. Michael has an eye for the beautiful, and performs magic with the rugged and handsome.    I'll never complain about photos of gorgeous men in studio settings. They are one of my most enjoyed and appreciated forms of art. However, when someone as talented as Michael Bernal can step into my favorite world and capture it's finest for me to admire and desire, I find I must strongly express my true gratitude. Each week Michael gives me the ability to live vicariously through his images in a fantasy world and location I only get to visit about once a year. One of Michael's favorite venues is F-WORD held at the club Splash on Friday nights. Through his photographic depiction, it has become one of our favorites as well.

Getting Down And Dirty With A Male Stripper

   Ha! I knew I would get your attention with the title of this blog. And since this blog is a part of the "Naughty November" series, I had to have a title that fit. However, let me throw you a slight curve. I want to talk about fan to male stripper etiquette. Now don't worry, I will talk about some of the good stuff that you are thinking about right now too. I am from the old school that thinks everyone deserves some respect, and that includes a guy who has stripped down to his underwear, or is nude and dancing in front of me for the sole purpose of my handing him some of my hard earned cash.

   I spoke with a young former dancer this past week and he told me he didn't dance anymore because the "old guys kept grabbing his dick". This told me that he probably didn't mind the young guys or the ladies grabbing his dick. It also told me that he didn't realize the "old guys" are usually the ones with more money and tip more but hey, it's his choice. With that in mind, I decided to write a blog about acceptable fan to male stripper behavior and how this varies depending on the situation and venue.

   First, although it should be obvious, you are not allowed to take your liberty with a male stripper. The male stripper is an entertainer and although he may be drop dead gorgeous, hot as hell, hung like a horse, and act like he is needing a good fuck. It is not your designated duty to fulfill that obligation just because you paid the door cover and are placing $20 bills in his underwear, armband, or socks. If you are wanting to pay someone in that manner, there are many websites online where you can hire an escort, have him dance like a male stripper, and then proceed to engage in whatever activity in which you have made an agreement. I make no judgments about this activity, I just caution you to remember that if he is not employed at a ranch in Nevada, it is probably illegal. The risk is all yours.

   With that said, there are some situations where a little groping may pass, a fondle or two may not be turned away, and your arm may not be broken after a squeeze. The bottom line is this. ALL bars and clubs that employ male strippers whether semi-nude or fully-nude will tell you that no activity of a sexual nature is allowed. And lets face it, a grope, fondle, or squeeze of specific body parts is technically activity of a sexual nature. That is the situation at businesses open to the public for their entertainment value. I will speak of private parties, a completely different situation, later in this blog.

   Now for some reality, yes, it sometimes happens. When you mix hot, naked men with a crowd of people who are experiencing the erosion of their inhibitions through the consumption of alcohol, (or possibly recreational chemicals) things of a sexual nature can happen. This happens more frequently at major events or special weekends that are held in major cities. And, the specific male dancers who are working these events may be more relaxed in their sexual inhibitions as well. You may have seen the online pics of male strippers on the bar getting hand or blow jobs by the patrons, or possibly a more intimate interaction. This may be someone's current fantasy but it is not the norm.

   Ok, so what is allowed. Well, at most strip clubs where I have participated in the tip and attention exchange from a male stripper, the stripper takes my hand in his and runs it across his body and sometimes over his pouch covered crotch. I, being fond of the reverse side of the equation, will often ask the stripper to turn around where as I am placing my tip in his waistband, I will gently, but firmly squeeze the cheeks of his ass. I have been in bars and/or clubs where a dancer who is well-endowed and proud encourages a little exploration of said object of pride. And I have eagerly obliged. These interactions are of course hush-hush and "it never happened". The bars and or clubs could get into some serious legal problems. If you happen to stumble into experiences of this nature, enjoy it, keep your mouth shut (no pun intended), and of course, return for another opportunity later. As they say, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Vegas, of course being wherever you are at the time. And for Pete's sake, tip him well. Let me make it clear that keeping quiet doesn't include me. It is your duty to email me immediately and let me know what happened, the name of the club and where it is located. Just for research value of course. (SMILE)

   As for private parties, all bets are off. I usually tip my first tip as a gentleman. I compliment the stripper. Place tips in his waistband, front and back, and if he wants to take my hand, I allow it. Then I hang back and watch to see how the party host or his/her close friends interact with the male stripper. If in the mood, I take my cues from them and proceed.

   If you are not sure "how far is too far", then let the male dancer take the lead. They will usually encourage or discourage certain behaviors. Let them guide you through the situation. If you enjoy an experience that happens to be more than sliding a dollar in the waistband of an exotic male dancer, then do as I do, immediately after develop a case of amnesia. So when asked what happened just look wide-eyed and say, "I don't remember". Repeat after me, "I don't remember". And if I'm asked about any previous interactions that I have had from anyone reading this blog, I want to let you know that I am really sorry, but "I don't remember".
