Thirsty In The Desert - Club Review: Charlie's Phoenix - Featuring the Sinful Studs Male Dancers (Pics and Video)

 
    I had already decided I wanted to celebrate my birthday weekend in Phoenix, AZ. In Phoenix you can find a club that features male dancers every day of the week. I mean, it's the perfect location for this exotic male dancer guru to kick back and enjoy his favorite form of entertainment on a nightly basis (and even some afternoons). And that is exactly what I did with my partner and sidekick Jay.
 
 
    Charlie's was easy to find by GPS and there was a large parking lot beside it so parking was no hassle. There was no cover and the first bar was close to the entry. Those of you who have been following my blog for a while know that my favorite cocktail is a dirty martini. When I travel I like to test the local bartenders on how well they can make one. But not this time, I had decided I was going to expand my new experiences with new drinks and cocktails.
 
 
    I told the bartender to make me something of his choosing with Vodka. I have learned over the years that I have less issues the next day when I drink Vodka based drinks. So, the bartender went to work and put together some concoction with a pinkish tint. I tasted it and liked it. And in case I wanted one in the future, I asked the bartender what it was called. He replied, "It's delicious!" I laughed. In other words, it didn't have a name, he just threw it together. Well, I liked it. Now when Jay or I don't know the name of the cocktail we are drinking, we just say, "It's delicious!"
 
 
    Continuing past the first bar is an inside dance floor with boxes for male dancers. The lighting in this area was amazing! I enjoyed watching the go-go boys as the light danced across their perfect bodies. Stepping outside the nearby door you are greeted with a large patio with seats along the wall to the left, seating areas with tables in the middle, and several areas where you can stand. Another bar is located at the far end. In the middle to the right is a stage where the DJ is located and one or two go-go boys dance. There were boxes in various other places on the patio where other go-go boys were dancing as well. All in all, there were 5-6 dancers at all times. The crowd was composed of mostly gay men but also many others of mixed ages and genders. And from what I observed, everyone feels welcome at Charlie's Phoenix. That was reflected in the line at the door as well.
 
 
 
   The Sinful Studs go-go boys are a regular feature at Charlie's Phoenix. They were all exceptional. Sexy as hell with amazing bodies and wearing underwear that covered but also emphasized those parts we all enjoy! Many of them were wearing assless underwear, jock straps, or thongs, so the cheeks were presented and shaking in a close-your-mouth-Mike-your-drooling kind of way. And several were wearing cowboy hats some of the night.
 
 
   Just think about that, Michael Hill watching male dancers wearing assless underwear, displaying big bulges, hard muscled bodies and wearing cowboy hats. It was like the night was written specifically for me for my birthday! I couldn't move fast enough to tip all of them. It was also a pleasure to meet Sergio, the man behind the scenes for Sinful Studs. If you haven't already, click the video above and see what I'm talking about.
 
 
 
 
    One of the indicators of whether I have truly enjoyed a club or not is whether I return for a second visit, and yes, I did! We returned on Sunday night. The experience was great again! I also want to say thank you to Charlie's for holding on to my debit card that I 'accidentally' left. I'm not saying I had a few too many. I mean after all, I was celebrating my birthday. We were able to stop back by and pick it up. The "It's delicious" bartender handed it to me on my return.
 
 
    Males In Motion recommends Charlie's Phoenix for your celebrations! If you will be visiting Phoenix for any reason, add Charlie's to your list of places to party. Everyone gets thirsty in the desert and Charlie's has all the right ingredients to quench that thirst. Of course, those go-go boys will stir you up again and again. Once The Clothes Began To Hit The Floor... - Club Review: Zonie's Closet ~ Indianapolis, IN

 
   Once the clothes began to hit the floor, I started to recover. There is nothing like a male stripper to bounce you out of a funk. And in this case it was six male strippers. All bringing to the box their various talents and 'assets'.

   The winter months had left me suffering from something I can only compare to a seasonal affective disorder. You know, where people get depressed in the winter from not seeing the sun. Well, I had been experiencing bulge and bubble affective disorder from not seeing live male stripper bulges and bubble butts for weeks.

    As I sat at the table in Zonie's Closet in Indianapolis, IN, the spotlight began to break through my haze and I was starting to feel like my old self again. I could see well-stretched briefs and thongs which caused a smile to spread across my face. That smile grew even larger as I followed the bouncing, shaking, spinning and swinging before me. It was therapeutic.

   There were cowboy hats and anyone that knows me is well aware that cowboys always bring me back to life. I was intrigued by a mysterious black mask and leather gloves, a fedora, a hard hat. Each one pulled me willingly into the fantasies that were playing in my head. Was I imagining it, or did I see a dancer wearing a kilt? I sat up straight in my seat. It was what was under that kilt that kept my eyes glued to the stage. Before I realized what was happening, I was up and placing tips in memorable locations. A full transformation from my winter funk back into the male stripper super fan had taken place.

    Little did I know when I stepped inside Zonie's Closet that I would be experiencing as they say, "Just what the doctor ordered." It was easy to find the bar and nearby parking. We entered Zonie's, paid the $5 cover and then met some amazing people. First up was Joseph Blevins who is the force behind Sinful and Skinful, the name of the male revue show. He schedules dancers for Friday nights and the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month. We had chatted with him online a few times and it was great to finally meet him. Joseph, thank you for putting together such a fun and sexy show. We enjoyed every minute of it.

   The boys from Kentucky, Chad and Brock, were dancers in the show and after chatting with them many times online, it was such a pleasure to speak with them face-to-face and face-to-butt and face-to-bulge. They both are even sexier in person.

   Even though he has a great body, what I liked most about meeting Brock was the sparkle in his eye and a heart melting smile. Seeing him once again confirmed our selection of Brock as the Males In Motion Obsession for March 2019. Click here and read the blog featuring Brock.

   The six dancers in the evening's show were Danny Boy, Chad Vincent, Brock Hard, Torsten, Ponce Demoore and Zeus. All of these boys came ready to entertain. They wore great costumes, danced seductively on the stage, gripped tight and spun around the pole, stripped out of their clothes and worked the audience just the way we like it.

   I dare anyone to try and stay in a funk when Danny Boy is dancing in your lap, or Cowboy Chad Vincent's bulge is right in front of your face, or Brock Hard is shaking that bubble butt in hand's reach. Torsten was the one wearing the kilt and when his bulging briefs were revealed from underneath, well, let's just say I developed an instant urge to play the bagpipe. Ponce added a new scene to my fantasies of men wearing hard hats. And Zeus gave me a new appreciation for the red singlet. Thank you gentlemen. It was all our pleasure.

    Special thanks goes out to Frankie for taking care of me at the bar. The dirty martini was perfect! It's Mardi Gras Time! My Daydreams Are Focused On Partying In New Orleans And The Boys At The Corner Pocket

    I love New Orleans. Many of you already know but I lived there for a while in my 20s. I love the people. I love the food. I love the partying. I love Mardi Gras parades. And I love partying at the Corner Pocket in the French Quarter. That's a lot of things to love in one place. Whenever I get a chance to return I do. And now that the Mardi Gras parades have already begun and Fat Tuesday is March 5, I am daydreaming about the city and the boys on the bar.

    I visited New Orleans and the Corner Pocket recently. And as always The Corner Pocket delivered. I enjoyed reconnecting with the Corner Pocket friends. It's like returning home to family. Michael, Jeremy, the bartenders and staff are always gracious. Jeremy, the dancer manager, has been a friend to Males In Motion for several years. It's always great to get to sit at the bar with him, have a drink, and talk about new dancers and find out if my previous favorites are still around. I want to send a shout out to Bruce, the bartender, who has been at The Corner Pocket for several years and served me many times.

    With each visit, I find new favorites. On the first night of this trip at the top of our list was Cody (pic above). He is sexy with a fun personality. I always looked forward to when his name was called to be dancing on the bar. He was down to earth and I enjoyed talking with him, and tipping him. Jay and I usually have different dancers that we choose as our favorites but we both enjoyed Cody. We always plan two nights at the Corner Pocket and on the second night my favorites included David and Rafael. Both were very personable and took the time to visit with you and say 'thanks' when tipped. Jay liked Igor who was Russian. Jay used the online translator and wrote a compliment in Russian just for fun. Igor spoke perfect English but got a kick out of it.

   Even though New Orleans is always a lively city, it hits full stride during Mardi Gras. The atmosphere ignites and flows into the bars and clubs in the French Quarter, the Corner Pocket included. If you're going to be in the Crescent City for Mardi Gras, I recommend you stop in at the Corner Pocket and meet the boys on the bar.

   Although he wasn't there on our last visit, Johnathan, front in pic above, has been one of our favorite dancers during the past two years.     My head is full of Hurricanes (the drink, not the storm), Crawfish Étouffée, Muffalettas, catching beads, stepping on doubloons, King Cakes and tipping the boys at the Corner Pocket. If you find yourself in New Orleans or live in the area as I did for a while, you owe it to yourself to experience a night (or two) at the Corner Pocket. We always recommend it. The Naked Wonderland ~ The Boys of X-Room ~ Males In Motion Obsession for December 2018

 
    How does one describe the X-Room? In some ways it's like an amusement park so "Six Cocks Over Mass." would work. But in reality, there are many more than six cocks that can be seen on the bar.

    The X-Room experience can also be compared to eating your favorite dessert. It's a "Cakes du Jour" because who doesn't like to stuff their mouth into cakes, I mean with cakes?
 
 
   However, If you are one who likes to visit establishments such as the X-Room then it is rather obvious that you like to play with bats and balls. With that in mind, the club is like a sporting event so "The Batting Cage" might be an adequate comparison.

    To me, the X-Room is much more than a rollercoaster ride, a piece of pineapple upside down cake, or even getting to first or second base. When I think of the X-Room, I am inspired by a familiar holiday song ..."a beautiful sight, we're happy tonight, tipping in a naked wonderland." So, for the purpose of this blog, X-Room shall be described as "The Naked Wonderland". And X-Room is a true Wonderland because it features sexy, naked dancing boys EVERY FREAKIN' NIGHT! WOOHOO!

    During a recent visit at X-Room, I was honored to serve as a judge for the Mr. X-Room 2019 contest. I sat next to Bryce Adonis of the Men Of Eden who also served as a judge. We've known each other online and by phone for several years but had never met in person. It was great to finally meet him. And I'll add that it was also great to see him naked and performing before the contest. Bryce and the Men Of Eden are frequent guest dancers at X-Room. He lovingly refers to his fans as cockwatcherz. And I've been a cockwatcher for a long time. Bryce was featured as a Males In Motion monthly obsession in June 2017. Click here to read the related blog and see his pics.
 
 
    The judging obligation required that I watch and score several contestants while they stripped out of their clothing and danced naked. It was one of the happiest days of my life. As I write this, a solitary tear of joy is forming in my eye as I remember those beautiful bodies, firm asses, bouncing balls and freely swinging penises. I'm not ashamed to say that I was moved. Yes, moved. At the end of the contest the sexy dancer Julian emerged as the winner and was crowned.
 
 
    My eyes were treated to a visual feast during the night as I saw both new dancers and those I had met and tipped before. I met Eric who was the Mr. X-Room for 2018 and who was selected as the Males In Motion monthly obsession for December 2017. Click here and read the related blog and see his pics.    I couldn't write this blog without mentioning Gabe, one of my favorite all-time male dancers. Gabe has been my favorite X-Room dancer for around three years. He has been featured in many Males In Motion blogs in the past. It was a highlight of my night to spend some time with him in a private lap dance. Now before you get those dirty thoughts in your head about what might happen in that private lap dance, let me assure you that we just spent the time talking and catching up on life events, etc. ***wink, wink*** He is sexy af on the outside, and a great guy on the inside. All I can say is that if you spend any time with him, the thirst is real!
 
 
    With all of the scenery of the night, all of the fun tipping the boys, meeting new dancers and 'catching up' with old friends, it was a clear choice to select the Boys of X-Room as the Males In Motion Obsession for December 2018. Before we left for the night, Sammy, the manager of X-Room allowed me to visit with all the dancers in the dressing room. It was my pleasure to get to meet many of them and for those of you with dirty minds, they were all dressed when I was in the dressing room. This was a good thing because when I talked with them, I was actually looking at their faces. ***Evil Grin***.
 
 
 
 
    A shout out goes to Mia E Z'Lay, Ms X-Room 2018, for an excellent job as mistress of ceremonies. Also to the bartenders Daniel, Joey and Kevin who were moving at lightning speed keeping up with all the adult beverage requests. Thanks to Sammy for being a gracious host. May I squeeze your butt again?
 
 
    Each visit at X-Room is always pure pleasure. I love tipping the boys on the bar. I love the private lap dances. And I always make memories that I love to share. If you are in or will be visiting the Springfield, Massachusetts area, stop in at X-Room and have some play time with the boys. You'll be glad you did! Tell them Mike at Males In Motion says hi and tip your favorites once for me. On your visit see if you can match the vpl above with the dancer.
