Thank You For Getting Naked!

Photo by Michael Hill for Males In Motion

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love the food, the parades, football (football players and uniforms) and family. When we get together as in many households, we go around the room and different people say what they are thankful for on this day. This blog focuses on what I'm thankful for when speaking about the exotic male dancer industry.

At the top of the list, I am thankful for all the fans of exotic male dancers who regularly buy drinks and pay covers at bars and clubs that feature them. Thank you for keeping these venues open and successful. In the past few years many such bars and clubs have closed their doors and they are missed. Thank you for tipping the boys so they are motivated to keep performing.

Thank you to all the exotic male dancers who perform at our favorite bars and clubs. We appreciate the hard work needed to keep your body in shape. We are grateful for the many pairs of underwear that you go through each year. Thank you for playing into our fantasies with costumes and props that drive us wild. Thank you for the flirts and teases that make us enjoy the nights we go out to have fun. And thank you for those adventures we experience in the VIP Lounge and private lap dance areas. And of course, we thank you for getting 'nekkid'! Woot!

Thank you to the bar and club owners, managers, show directors, drag queens, dj's, bartenders, security and staff who week after week keep the venues running so we can return and have fun. It takes so many different people doing their jobs well to make this big machine move smoothly. Thank you to all the photographers, bloggers and vloggers who bring us images and videos to enjoy those locations where we aren't able to travel. Although we don't say it enough, we do appreciate all of you!

Have a great Thanksgiving! Until next time, save me some pumpkin pie! We recommend that you eat, take a nap, then go out and tip the dancing boys this weekend!

GIFTS 101 Part Two: When The Underwear Drops, What Is Left?

Photo Source: Michael Hill      Model: Austin for Males In Motion

As a fan, we all love tipping a male dancer. We challenge you to take one step further and give a personal gift that will bring a smile to their face, and make shopping more fun during the holidays. In part one of this blog, GIFTS 101, we discussed buying underwear as a gift for an exotic male dancer. When we drop the underwear, what is left? In this blog we add in the accessories or extras that you can place with the underwear to make a memorable holiday gift. The gifts are centered around what a male dancer will need while performing, getting ready to perform or after he has finished his performance. If you haven't read GIFTS 101, please CLICK HERE and read it so you'll have all our tips on buying a gift for your favorite exotic male dancers.

Popular Men's Fragrances
The first item that I would recommend you add to a sexy pair of underwear is a seductive fragrance. Men's colognes can be a bit pricey. We'll provide a list that includes options for those who have no money worries and those who work closely on a budget. Below are some of the top selling brands and fragrances.

Below are a few more economical options for fragrances. The sample packs provide a variety of different popular fragrances at a small price. This will give the male dancer several options. You can ask them at some point which they liked best and purchase that particular fragrance for a future gift. We also recommend that you stop in a local department store and use the fragrance sample testers to see which fragrances you like the best. Ask for their prices, then compare them to the prices we have listed here. Choose the best price wherever that may be. Remember to always factor in shipping if an item is purchased online.

Gear And Accessories
When a male dancer performs several things happen that provide clues for gift options. Hair care and grooming are important. We think shoe laces in a variety of colors is a cool addition. The dancer can match the shoe laces to the color of underwear they are wearing for that session. A male dancer needs a duffle bag or other bag to carry their items to and from the venue. They will sweat while dancing so a towel would be a nice addition to their gear. We've listed a few possible associated gifts below. We'll also be posting an upcoming blog with instructions for making a gift basket or box for the male dancer that will include some of these items and others not listed below.

Who is Michael Hill? And what is Males In Motion?

Photo Source: Males In Motion     Photo by Michael Hill    Model: Mike

Michael Hill is me! Lately I have been asked about who I am, what I do, and what is Males In Motion. I decided to write a blog and answer these questions for those who may not know. I am not and have never been an exotic male dancer. My approach to this industry is strictly from the side of the customer, fan and cheerleader. It is the customer who provides dollars to keep the dancers dancing, the bartenders pouring drinks, and pays the cover charge. It is the customer who supports a venue to keep the doors open. The customer is therefore, one of, if not the most important ingredient in the successful operation of a bar or club.

I am a photographer, promoter, blogger and web developer. These four roles grew out of my passion for the entertainment world of exotic male dancers. For many years I worked for a corporation as a member of the IT staff. I traveled to different places in the U.S. and Mexico where the company had offices. During my travels I would always look for clubs that featured male dancers to visit during my off-work hours. I made some great discoveries along the way. Imagine the thrill of my first introduction to all-nude male dancers at Swinging Richards in Atlanta, Boxers N Briefs near St. Louis, and others.

This was before the days of social media, yes, I'm that old. So, finding information about clubs that featured male dancers was not as easily attainable. In 2003, I was motivated to start a website, Males In Motion, where I could maintain a list of the clubs across North America. After that, any time I traveled for work or pleasure, I would have an available list online where I could check for clubs in the area and then, go have my fun. I soon discovered there were many other fans who felt the way I did, and they began to check the website during their travels as well.

I dabbled in photography in high school and even wound up being the editor of the high school yearbook my senior year. I continued to enjoy photography in college and then after graduation as a hobby. It was often difficult to find the kind of images I wanted to use on my website so I began to go out and capture those images myself at clubs featuring male dancers. In time, I also started hiring local college students to be male models for promotional images for Males In Motion. For a couple of years, I even took promotional photos for local drag queens and entertainers. Today, I take only the photos that I want. Most of these are studio shots used on the website or blog. A few are promotional images for male dancers. When possible, I still enjoy capturing images of male dancers doing their thing in clubs or at events.

Today I describe Males In Motion as a news and information service that promotes the world of exotic male dancers. Males In Motion is not an agency that provides male dancers for events. Nor are we a male review. Instead, we promote the exotic male dancer entertainment industry itself, male dancers and the clubs that feature them. We do this through our website Males In Motion, this Males In Motion blog, a Facebook Page, Twitter (@mimotion), Instagram (@mimotion5205) and Tumblr. I also serve as a consultant to male dancers, show directors, club managers/owners and promoters. And when the mood strikes, I hire male dancers for promotional purposes to appear at clubs and private parties.

Males In Motion will turn 15 in September. Over these 15 years I have learned what customers are looking for in an entertainment experience with male dancers. I have learned how to convert the entertainment experiences into financial success for male dancers and the clubs where they perform. I have watched many clubs open their doors for the first time, as well as close their doors permanently. I know many of the pitfalls to avoid in this business. I try to share what I have learned with anyone in the business who will listen.

Another question I am always asked is "where is your pic?" In this age of putting our whole world on social media for everyone to see, I am the mysterious figure who doesn't have any pics of myself online...or do I? The pics I use on the Males In Motion social media accounts, the website, in the blog, are all models I have hired or male dancers. I stay in the background so I am treated like any other customer who visits. I travel North America and visit clubs featuring male dancers and write reviews. I want to know the reality. I also consult with dancers, bartenders, club staff, managers, show directors, DJs, etc., and provide tips and information that I have gathered over the years. All is done for one purpose...to help everyone be successful. If I can do this as just another regular customer, I get the true picture and hopefully any assistance I can provide will be more effective as a result. It's kind of like being a secret shopper. I will admit that over the years I have developed friendships with many people in the industry so it is becoming more difficult to go to some locations and slip in quietly and discreetly.

For the male dancer, I can make recommendations that encourage customers to tip you more. This can be as simple as the style of underwear that will fit your body, and the best colors to wear. For the club manager/owner, I can recommend steps toward creating an atmosphere of true customer service where everyone feels welcomed and will want to return for future visits. For the show director I can provide inspiration to create new experiences for the customers. For the DJ's, I can provide tips on what music best motivates the dancers to move seductively, and the music that specific customer target markets want to hear. There are so many simple steps that can be taken that when combined, will have a major impact on financial success and customer enjoyment.

I am luckier than many. I combined the things I enjoy most - travel, photography, writing and exotic male dancers - and created my own career as a photographer and promoter. I chose to be a promoter because I wanted to participate in the success of my favorite form of entertainment which includes male strippers, go-go boys, pole dancers, male reviews, and nude male dancers. I promote the dancing boys because I enjoy watching, tipping and photographing them. I promote also because I want to assist clubs, venues, events and any other business that feature male dancers. It's purely selfish. I want them to be successful so that I can continue to enjoy male dancers the rest of my life. I have often joked that I'll be old, feeble and in a wheel chair and I'll still be wheeling up to the stage to tip the boys! And of course, I"ll need a male stripper for every birthday in my golden years. I'll never be too old for a lap dance.

I hope I have answered your questions with this blog. If however, you have further questions, please feel free to add them to the comments below and I will reply. If you are interested in my services as a consultant, please let me know. I prefer to be contacted through social media. My social media accounts are listed at the bottom of this blog. Consulting for male dancers is always free. Depending on the type of request, it is usually free for clubs and their staff members as well. Until next time, don't forget to tip the boys!

Bottom Of The Cup

One of my favorite simple pleasures is that first cup of coffee when I wake up. I have been a coffee drinker/fan since I was 17 years old. That was many moons ago. Over the years the way I brew my coffee has gone through several evolutions. This past year my java fanaticism moved forward with progress. Now I make one cup at a time and I'm loving it. So what? You might ask. What does this have to do with male strippers, big bulges and bubble butts? Keep reading and I'll explain.
For years I was the collect-the-gold-stars at Starbuck's coffee drinker. I have now joined the Keurig revolution. I don't do pre-made k-cups. I have the little plastic cups with paper filters that fit them. I also splurged and purchased a very nice coffee grinder so I could grind beans (for the great aroma that fills the room). The days of full pots at home in my old Mr. Coffee, and coffee drive-through are over. The fact that I love coffee hasn't changed. What has changed is the technology and lifestyles around me helping a new way of making coffee to emerge and become popular.

Everything changes. And just as my coffee procurement has changed, the exotic male dancer experience has changed as well. In a past blog I spoke about how our industry and related businesses go through a sifting and shuffling approximately every three to five years. From my point of observation, 2017 has been a period of drastic changes in the industry. Some of these changes have been gradual and have finally reached their fruition. Others were abrupt and surprising to those involved. I still love tipping the dancing boys, lap dances and male strip shows. But the environment in which these activities take place, has changed around me.

I've witnessed several bars/clubs that feature exotic male dancers close their doors. I've watched people in the industry step out and move to different unrelated careers. Male dancers have put their pants back on, at least in public.

Why are these changes occurring now? There are two main reasons that I have observed personally. First, the customer base for this type of bar/club has changed. Second, bars and clubs have had to go into survival mode and have had to split their focus both in their entertainment and the target market they are trying to reach.

The male strip club customer of the past was mainly gay men. The ladies enjoy their male revues but this type of entertainment is more of a Las Vegas or Broadway production. The bar with the male dancer on the box is still around but is becoming a rarity. At one time this was the staple for male stripper entertainment as the gay patrons would stuff dollars in the waistbands of the local college boys who were working their way through school by showing some skin. Some of these expanded and there would be several male dancers on a larger stage or on the bar. A VIP room or lounge was usually available for private lap dances. This type of entertainment venue is beginning to disappear due mainly to a drop in customer patronage.

What used to be a place for gay men to meet has been largely replaced with phone apps. There is no need to go to the club to find those of like-mind, or like-attraction. With the increase in diversity, many in the LGBT community are not necessarily seeking an exclusive LGBT type bar. Global Male Productions is based in Southern California and provides some of the hottest male dancers for bars and clubs in the area. In a recent email pertaining to the closing of NUMB3RS in San Diego, they stated, "It is very sad to see another legendary gay nightclub close it's doors leaving Hillcrest, San Diego's prominent LGBT community. As diversity flourishes in our societies and communities, and the younger LGBT generations have a lesser need for exclusive LGBT nightclubs, it is quite possible that we will see more and more legendary nightclubs close it's doors in our LGBT communities over time."

In order to get bodies through the door clubs today particularly in smaller cities are having to cater to many different types of customers in order to survive. There are often event nights held to reach different groups. There are clubs that have a male stripper night, drag show night, lesbian night, leather night, etc. There are those who are now serving food or having cookouts on weekends. Except in larger cities, there are not enough customers frequenting these clubs when they have a single focus such as male strippers. It is a tough balancing act to try and keep everyone happy while making sure enough revenue is passing through your door.

What can be done? Let's go back to coffee. When I have finished off that first wonderful cup of coffee, what do I do? I pour another cup. The analogy can be applied to the exotic male dancer entertainment industry. A bar or club can be revived and brought back from the brink when the customers begin to return. Let the bars and clubs know that you are grateful that they provide a place for the sexy male dancers to perform by parking your butt in a seat on a regular basis. There are three attitudes you can adopt to help bring about a resurgence of the male strip club. Be present. Be generous. Be demonstrative.
Be present. It is more important now than ever to support your local dick dancer bar. That support can be in many different places. First, and foremost, visit the clubs as often as you can. Make your local dick dancer bar the destination for taking friends for life celebrations such as birthdays, promotions, etc. When you travel, visit a male strip club before you go back home. (Then tell me all about it.)
Be generous. Always tip the boyz. If you have a limited income, select one particular dancer that you really like and tip them to encourage them to continue dancing at that location. Tip your bartenders.
Be demonstrative. Take an active part in assisting in the success of the bars, clubs, events and male dancers. Support them on social media... like or heart their posts so they know someone is following them. Then share their posts with your friends' list. Check in when you are at a male strip club to provide that club with free promotion. Where it is allowed, do live broadcasts letting all your followers know how much fun you are having.
If you are a dancer, do live broadcasts while at the club inviting your friends to join you. Also, posts your appearances online several times before the event. Make sure that you include the name of the club, the address, and any other important information. Support the clubs that provide a location for you to perform and earn tips!

Until next time, I'll see you at the club! And I'll be watching for your "likes", "shares", "heart" on the male dancer posts! Let's keep this industry strong! Save the bulge!

Two Hands Are Needed ~ Stock Bar in Montreal ~ Nude Male Dancers Online

"Nude Male Dancers"... those three words have always, ALWAYS, captured my attention. And a few years ago I found them attached to a website that featured Nude Male Dancers broadcast live. I decided to check it out and was immediately in awe of the beautiful boys from Montreal, Quebec who dance at Stock Bar.

Over the years the faces have changed as dancers have come and gone, but still today, Stock Bar is producing quality entertainment of the sensual erotic male kind.

Back then I subscribed to the site. A few years ago, I went one step further and became an advertising affiliate with Stock Bar and the nude male dancers. And as with any advertising and promotion that I do, if I do not believe in the product, then I will not place it on my website, social media, etc.

Each year at various times throughout the year, I subscribe to Stock Bar's Nude Male Dancers online broadcast in order to evaluate the current quality and value of the entertainment that is presented. This past week was one of those times, and I must say that I truly enjoyed the experience of watching those talented and 'blessed' young men as they performed their rotations on the stage, and behind the scenes.

Although as you might suspect, I would rather be sitting in the club and tipping the boys in person, my budget and schedule doesn't allow that to happen as frequently as I would like. Having the option of watching the boys online through the HD broadcast provides the visual enjoyment when I'm not able to be there.

There are other features online that aren't available at the club. Watching the boys get ready in the back room is one of those. Ever wonder what the guys do to get those already large endowments to stand at full attention before coming on stage? Watching the back room option lets you see for yourself. And from what I've seen, I'd say two hands are needed to firmly grasp the situation.

There is a chat room as part of this site, and I always enter it and see what everyone is talking about. The topics bounce around to many different things but always keep a thread about the dancers who are appearing on the screen at the time. One of the questions I asked the chat group was "who are their current favorites?" Several responded with the names of who they looked forward to seeing on stage.

Every fan of exotic male dancers has their favorite types. Or sometimes, maybe due to familiarity, etc., they have specific dancers who wind up being their favorites. I'm no different. With this visit to Stock Bar online, I have selected those that I really liked. I've listed my favorites below with pics.

One of my favorites was Brad (above). As you can see, he is fully equipped for the job. I liked all of that of course, but he also has the most amazing eyes. You can't really tell it from these pics, but believe me the HD broadcast will show them clear. He has eyes that will melt hearts. The fifth pic from the top of this blog is also Brad.

Gunner has the most amazing body! (above) And part of that amazing body as you can see above is that ass! The pic third from the top is also Gunner and his great ass! I enjoyed watching those muscles move each time he stepped onto the stage.

I was happy to see that Spencer is still dancing at Stock Bar. (the two pics above) On a past visit to the club, I spent some time with Spencer for a private lap dance. You can read all about that experience by clicking here.

The pics and descriptions in this blog are only a small reflection of the solid line up of quality male dancers found at Stock Bar. I could easily fill several blogs with pics of different dancers and list their sexy attributes.

On Tuesday and Thursday nights in the Studio section of the website, you'll find one of the dancers stripping live. (See pic above) The viewers can make comments and ask questions in a chat window, and the dancer will respond live. You'll enjoy all of them but I especially like some of the sexy French Canadian accents. Scan through recordings of previous Studio nights and watch one of the dancers that does it for you. You get the opportunity to get a little more personal with your favorites. And there is almost always a happy ending to this event whether live or recorded. Who doesn't like a story with a happy ending?

If you like nude male dancers, then you'll love the Stock Bar website. Check it out! It's always free to just look around. Watch some of the sample videos of the dancers on stage. Click here or on any of the pics above and see the beautiful dancing boys from Montreal! Until next time, get cozy and watch the boyz!
