What's hot in March?:
 
    Welcome to the March Hot Themes Blog! This blog highlights some of the themes related to the month of March. Our goal is to provide inspiration to male dancers and show directors. We want to be a spark to ignite their creativity for shows and performances. This month we are featuring the classic sexy icon of the American Cowboy. As many of you know, this is a Males In Motion favorite costume and theme.
 
 
 
Movies    For those of you who may think the western movie is a thing of the past, "The Kid", a western movie starring Chris Pratt and Ethan Hawke opens this month. The cowboy is an American icon that never goes out of style with male stripper fans. Check out the trailer for the movie below to set the tone and get you in the mood for thinking about a Western theme night at your club.
 
 
   For the male stripper, the cowboy costume may involve a few more pieces of clothing than a go-go boy. I recommend that you check your local Goodwill Store or other similar type shop. Depending on the area of the country where you live, you may be able to find western shirts, and possibly a pair of cowboy boots. If you are not wanting to create your own costume this way, check Amazon and Ebay for costumes. And of course, you can always do a Google search for cowboy costumes as well. The main ingredients of the costume are first, the hat, and second, the boots. A bandana can be found at Spencer's Gifts, and some discount stores like Walmart. Music   If the area where you'll be performing enjoys country music, then you'll have no problem finding music for the show. If the area does not like country music, no problem. I recommend you go with classic rock music. I've placed several different options below to get the ideas flowing.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Featured Underwear   This month we recommend the Andrew Christian Bandanna Brief with Almost Naked for male dancers. The bandanna design fits perfectly into the cowboy theme. The fit works all the way around showcasing your best assets.
 
 
 
Promo Photo    Piranha Nightclub in Las Vegas is one of the premier clubs for go-go boys. Their male dancers are some of the hottest and raise the standard for go-go boys. The club is also one of the best at promoting the fact they have these high quality barely covered male dancers. The promo pic above is one of our current favorites. The dancer is captured in a provocative and vulnerable position. Is anyone tempted to reach out and cop a feel? We're all thinking it whether we act upon it or not. This pic is a great promo pic because we stop scrolling and take a moment to check it out! That's what a good promo pic should do. Placing the name of the club on the pic is simple but genius. If someone decides to save it to their favorite pic file, or share it, the name of the club is still promoted. In my imagination, I can also see this dancer wearing a cowboy hat, bandanna around his neck and cowboy boots.
 
 
 
Featured Ad - Why do we like this ad?    The first thing we like about this ad is the pic of the hot male. It is a tease pic. He is wearing a pair of underwear that pulls 'the boys' forward and puts them on display. He raises his shirt up to tease us with his amazing abs. And the look on his face says "Wanna play?" We'll stop and look at him. After we have checked him out thoroughly, we read over the ad and find all the necessary information concerning what will be happening at the club on this night. The date is there. The location information is there. The activities of the night are listed as well as those involved. This ad is a sample of how to make a good promo for an event night. The only thing that I feel would make it even better is if the male featured in the ad was also one of the male dancers that will be performing at the club on this night. That would give us an even stronger motivation to attend. From this ad we are not sure if he is or not. If you want to focus this ad with the cowboy theme, select a similar pic with the hot male wearing a cowboy hat. Never underestimate the importance of a good advertisement. Getting bodies to come through the door and spend their money is the goal. That is how the club stays financially successful and the door stays open.
 
 
 
Cocktails    The cocksucking cowboy is a perfect shot to promote on a cowboy themed night, particular in a gay or alternative club environment. The cocksucking cowboy is also known as a buttery nipple. The video above provides the easy two step process in creating the shot. I have enjoyed this shot many times.

Movies    James Bond is a book and movie character that embodies the ideal tuxedo wearer. The tuxedo is a costume that plays a major roll in weddings and special occasions. We think James Bond would make a great character for a strip tease. The tuxedo costume and the James Bond theme song (provided below) are a must for this character.

    Purchasing or renting a tuxedo can be costly. We recommend that you speak with a tuxedo rental shop and see if you can work a deal. Ask for free use of the tuxedo in exchange for free promotion for their store. Let them know that when you perform the DJ can give the store a plug such as "Tuxedo provided by ...". You might also offer to pay for dry cleaning services after you have worn it. Be sure and have someone take several pics of you in the tuxedo before you strip out of it. Post these pics on social media and give the store another free promotion in the text.
 
 
 
Music    We've listed some of the theme songs from past James Bond films that we think would work as a part of a male stripper performance, or invite a drag queen to get involved or make it a theme night. The James Bond films are known for their Bond girls.
 
 
 
 
Featured Underwear   This month we recommend the Andrew Christian CoolFlex Boxer w/ Show It for male dancers. We like the great vpl. If you've got the junk, we say show it off in this boxer brief. Click the pic and make a discovery that fits your body.
 
 
Promo Photo    The male dancer Levi (above) performs at X-Room at Mardi Gras in Springfield, MA. This is a nude club. There are so many things we love about this selfie style promo pic. First, it captures a teasing look on his face. He seems to be saying come and find me at X-Room. His tattoo artwork is displayed for those who have a tattoo fetish (and there are many of them). And of course, the pic leads our eyes to travel down his torso to a glimpse of what lies beneath his briefs. I also like the fact that it shows that he has pulled his pants down to show all of this. We get a male strip show all within one pic. I personally love X-Room and Levi is one reason why.
 
 
Featured Ad - Why do we like this ad?    The pic of the sexy athlete wearing basically only his cup is very hot! The cup first catches our attention because of course, we're going to look there. We love the theme "Keep It In Your Cup Party"! The play on words to say, keep your junk in your athletic cup and/or keep your cup full of your favorite drinks. The model has a nice muscular body which we're going to visually travel around on for a little while.
   All of the needed information is in the ad such as location, address, time (9pm-2am), and the day is Friday for the week it was posted. A date would have been nice but I'm not sure yet, maybe it is for every Friday. I recommend that whoever is in charge of promotions at your venue, use this ad for an example. Basics: Pic that catches the attention of the customers. Catchy theme text. And all the needed information so customers can find the venue and attend. And the added bonus is encouraged customer participation as in 'wear your cup' to receive Happy Hour prices 9pm to 2am.
 
 
Cocktails    In the novel "Casino Royale" by Ian Fleming, James Bond orders a Vesper Martini. Ian Fleming created this cocktail and we've included a youtube video below with instructions on making it. The bartender explains that it is an acquired taste. Remember for James Bond the martini is "shaken, not stirred". I am a martini drinker and personally I was not a fan of this martini. After I tasted it, I turned it into a modified dirty martini, my favorite martini.

HOT THEMES ~ January Tips And Ideas For The Exotic Male Dancer And Show Directors

 
   New year, new monthly blog. For 2019 we are starting a monthly blog that will highlight some of the themes of each month. From those themes we will provide tips and ideas for costumes, performances, music and more. We want to be the jumping off point where male dancers and show directors are inspired and develop their own ideas. We hope what we provide will help to jump-start your creative juices.
 
THEMES FOR THE MONTH
What's hot in January?:
 
Movies    Aquaman has been doing great at the box office. Put your creativity to work and come up with a related costume. We've placed some ideas found on Amazon below. We recommend the full costume only for male strippers who will be taking it off during their performance. For male dancers and go-go boys, be sure and show some skin!
 
  
 
 
 
Television   The final season of Game Of Thrones starts in April. The advertising has already begun on social media. Do a google search for Game Of Thrones and click on images to get your creativity started. Since winter has come to Game of Thrones, most of the costumes are going to have the men covered. This is ok for the male strippers as they remove them. All others should use bits and pieces of costumes but be sure and show some of what Mother Nature gave you in order to keep the customers interested and encourage tipping. For those who enjoy leather, this is a great option in which to get wild and crazy.
 
  
 
 
 
    Sports. Professional football, basketball both college and professional, and hockey are great sources for costumes and underwear choices this month for male strippers and go-go dancers. This could include team uniforms and colors. And don't forget the coaches and referees. Full costumes will work for male strippers. Team jerseys and underwear or underwear with team logo printed on it are good for other male dancers and go-go boys. Official team jerseys can be pricey so t-shirts will work just as well. Choose your favorite team! Add a whistle and blow!
 
   
 
 
Featured Underwear   This month we recommend the Andrew Christian Retro Brief for male dancers. We like the way it fits the boyz in the front and grabs the globes in the back. The color and material also helps to accentuate a great vpl.
 
 
Music   Creating a music mix which includes some of the latest movie or television soundtracks adds a theatrical element to your performance. Include some of today's top hits in a mash up. We've placed a few below for inspiration. Go with what moves you! Bohemian Rhapsody has been a top box office movie this past month. Work your favorite parts of a song by Queen into your act.

Promo Photo   The promo photo below from The Chippendale male dancers caught our attention on Instagram. Catching a person's attention is the purpose of a promo photo. What we feel is important is 'why did it catch our attention?' We list the following reasons: The photo works because the dancer's body is amazing. The lighting is dramatic and places all the focus on the dancer. The use of a cane holding up the hat to cover the dancer's junk is erotic and makes us wonder what is behind the hat. Consider these points when creating your next promo photo with your favorite photographer. The purpose of catching the viewers attention with this photo is the schedule of appearances directly below. Ask yourself 'what is the purpose of your next promo photo?'

Featured Ad - Why do we like this ad?    We love this ad because it grabs your attention, provides all the needed information, and makes us want to know more about the event. How does it do that? First, the word 'verga' means cock in English. Second, the pic is hot! The expression on the model's face and his appearance leaves no doubt that he wants to be checked out, and of course we do. We are drawn to look at his hot ass and then we move on to check out the rest of his body. And for us, we are a part of the audience that would be interested in a man wearing a cowboy hat. We see that there is a great drink special that is running all night. And, the important info like the date, name of the club and although in small print at the bottom, the location of the club are all provided. Ask yourself, do our ads catch the viewers attention and then does it provide the necessary info they need to come to the event?

GIFTS 101: Give Packages To Your Favorite 'Packages' ~ Give Your Gift Early! ~ We'll Tell You Why

    Have you considered giving your favorite exotic male dancers a gift this holiday season? If they put a smile on your face and a **Jingle all the way!** in your pants then add them to your list. We've put together a few gift ideas in this blog. We recommend that you buy now! One of the items all male dancers love is underwear. If you buy it now, and give it to them in early December, they will be grateful because during the holidays through New Year's Eve, there are many events and parties where they are asked to perform. In this blog we will recommend underwear brands, styles and colors. In an upcoming blog we will recommend accessories to go with the underwear. We'll suggest a gift ideas list that includes such items as fragrances, shoes, socks, snacks, gear bags and more.
 
Gift Ideas For Male Dancers
 
Underwear
 
  
 
    The best way to determine what underwear to buy is to investigate what they are currently wearing. If this is going to be a surprise for them, do these two things. Attend one of their performances this week and as you are tipping them, check the label on their underwear. Slide the dollar in the front, then ask them to turn around so you can tip the back. As you are sliding the dollar into the back, check the size on their underwear. Then as soon as you can, write down the brand name and the size or put it in a note or list on your phone. If you are buying for several dancers, just think of all the fun you will have checking brand names and sizes. If the gift is not going to be a surprise, then ask them what brands they like and what size they wear.
 
  
 
    There is a wide price range on men's underwear. High end labels will have a high end price tag.
 
  
 
    There are several popular brands that are not as expensive. Shop for price and shipping to get the best deal. I've listed some more economical brands at the bottom of this blog. We're providing ideas and suggestions in this blog. You may have another source that you like to buy from. No problem. The main thing is to enjoy your shopping for the dancing boys!
 
    Our tips and recommendations:
     
  • Styles usually allowed at all venues:
      Boxer Briefs, Briefs, Trunks
     
    •  
  • Styles not allowed at some venues:
      Thongs, g-strings, jockstraps
     
    •  
  • Styles to avoid:
      Boxers (They cover up too much)
      There are a few that are fun though.
     
    •  
  • Colors: Red, White, Black
      (Good for most themes and events)
     
    •  
  • Color: Mike's favorite color is orange
      so he is partial to male dancers wearing
       underwear in this color.
     
    •  
  • Solids or prints?
      We prefer solids because you can see more,
      but it's up to you and what the male dancer
      likes to wear.
     
    •  
  • Give underwear gift to the male dancer in its original packaging. Do not open it. Gift wrapping in holiday style is a nice touch as well. Underwear can also be a part of a gift basket or gift box. We'll provide instructions on putting together a gift bag/box in an upcoming blog.
    •  
  • Avoid most mega-store underwear brands: Hanes, Fruit-of-the-loom, etc. These are what I call utility underwear. They'll work to get the job done but are usually not very stylish.
 
   I've added a few economical styles and brands of underwear below. Some are knockoffs from China. And some are discounted for one reason or another. Some of them do not have a brand shown on them. If the male dancer is popular with the customers, then who cares what brand of underwear he is wearing. Remember to check both price and shipping to obtain the full cost.
 
  
 
   I am not a brand snob. If the male dancer looks good in the underwear then I'm happy. "Good" could mean he has a great VPL showing; Or, his bulge is enhanced by the underwear; Or, his bubble butt is framed amazingly. Well, if any of this is happening, then I"m happy.

The Tip Jar: Sexy Costumes - The Cowboy

    If a male dancer is dressed as a sexy cowboy in a performance where I am in the audience, I will be buckin' up to the stage to place my tips in less than 8 seconds. I grew up in an area where actual cowboys exist. I have even participated in a rodeo a time or two. It was in that environment that I developed my love for the cowboy hat, boots and a tight pair of Wranglers. Of course, when translating all of this into the world of the male stripper, Wranglers are most sexy when they are being seductively removed.
      There are 3 main elements that should be included in a cowboy costume: the cowboy hat, the cowboy boots, and a pair of underwear that sets it all off. I'll focus first on these three and then suggest other options that can be added.
 
 
The Cowboy Hat
    An authentic cowboy hat can be extremely expensive. Since this is a costume, I'd look for less expensive items. And the first thing you'll need to know is what size to buy. Click here for instructions on how to determine your size.
      I have purchased cowboy hats for costumes and photo shoots from Tractor Supply Co. and Spencer Gifts. If you sign up for the Spencer Gifts newsletter, you can get a coupon that will save you a few bucks on a purchase. I have searched through Amazon for items to feature in this blog.
 
 
 
      If you plan to buy only one hat, I recommend that you get an inexpensive brown or tan hat. You will be able to use it with different underwear or other costume items. The black hat will disappear in a dark bar and lose a lot of it's effect. In the old western movies the white hat was most often worn by the 'good guys'. You are a male stripper, you're image is best served by playing the 'bad boy'. So avoid the white hat, unless one is given to you for free.
 
 
 
      Other styles such as those with stars and stripes look good but limit your options. I recommend you hold off on purchasing one of these until after you have your basic brown or tan hat. Be careful on buying something very inexpensive. It will look cheap in your performance. Also, some of the cheapest cowboy hats look more like hats worn by tourists in sunny climates, and less like those worn by a cowboy.
 
 
Cowboy Boots
      Authentic cowboy boots will set you back mucho dinero! Unless you have the extra cash to spend, I suggest you seek a less expensive option. If you have no qualms about wearing footwear that someone else has previously worn, search Craigslist for cowboy boot options. Best option is to buy them from a friend, a retired male dancer, or even borrow them. I'd say skip the boot but it's such an integral part of the cowboy image.
 
  
 
    I recommend that you try to obtain a boot that matches your hat color. Also, if possible, stay away from boots with multiple colors. Cowboy boots come in every color under the rainbow. You don't want the boots to make your feet the stars of the show. You have other parts of your body where you would rather have the focus of the audience.
 
 
Underwear
 
 
 
 
      Almost any style and color of underwear will work with the cowboy costume. I have personal opinions that I am going to share but it really depends on your audience and what will encourage them to tip. I like an all-American cowboy. So underwear with stars or the American flag works for me. Animal prints such as the cow are fun and can be a surprise to the audience. Remember that print will often camouflage the size of your penis. If you are proud of what you've been given, wear a solid color. If it is not your best asset, then you can use prints to disguise its actual size. And one last thing here, I personally think a dancer who is wearing only a cowboy hat, cowboy boots and underwear is sexy as hell!
 
 
Other Options
 
 
 
 
 
      Other options for accessories can include a bandana, rope, gloves, chaps, spurs and western belt buckle.

     If you decide to wear jeans to strip out of, add a belt with cowboy belt buckle (not shown in pic). The action of unbuckling a belt and pulling it out from the loops is sexy and suggestive. For the best audience response, make sure the jeans fit tight around the ass and snug in the crotch.
