There are those who are looking out for the elderly, and checking on them to make sure they are not getting overheated. I applaud these people and support them 100 percent!!! With this blog I am campaigning for male dancer awareness. Did you know that during July and August, tips dwindle in many bars and clubs? With customers taking vacations or just getting so hot that they don't want to get out of their cool homes, fewer dollars wind up in those daydream waistbands, socks, armbands, etc. I call upon all male dancer fans, and potential new fans, to get out of the pool, get to the atm, withdraw those dollars, and visit your local bar/club/event that features exotic male dancers. We want to keep these boys dancing through the summer so when those beautiful days of autumn arrive, they'll still be showing their pudding (as my friend and bartender at X-Room, James Kennedy calls it. Yes, James. I saw what you did in Ptown. WOOHOO!).

And for the exotic male dancers, this is a great time of year to get cooled down in the tried-and-true method. Get nekkid! Yes, take a spin on a pole at your nearest all-nude male dance club. I've provided a list below for both customer/fan and male dancer alike. For the customer/fan, it's a genuine decadent pleasure. I view this time of year as one of the best for customers and fans of exotic male dancers. You see, with some customers gone on vacations, that means when I go to the strip clubs, I get more individual attention. Think of it this way, all of those hot male dancers working it extra hard to get your dollars because there are fewer customers in the bar. You'll want to take extra $$ because there will be more opportunities. I recommend you take advantage of your situation and enjoy a lap dance or two, or ten. I have been and will continue. I've got several weekends planned in July, August and September. My travels will take me from St. Louis to Phoenix.

One more thing before I go. I'm all about all-nude male strip clubs. I enjoy them! But, let me make it clear. Some of the most fun (and naughty) times I have had at a club with male dancers, were not at all-nude clubs. Those boys who are suppose to keep on their clothes, well, there are other ways to get your attention. They have other skills and ideas to keep the customers happy.

I appreciate the variety in his images both color and black and white. It is impossible to simply glance and move on. Each image has details that cause one to pause. Yes, the sexual markers for exotic male dancers are all there...the full lips, the ample baskets, the bubble butts, the concrete wall chests...we the fans, are always grateful.

F*ck 'em with your eyes Without touching them Five tips from someone who has been there.

My friend Tracie danced as an exotic female dancer for 15 years. She later managed and operated both female and male strip clubs including one of my all-time favorites, Mojo's in Tulsa, OK. She and her family have moved to Georgia and I was so excited when she joined me for my birthday celebration this year at Swinging Richard's in Atlanta. (Click here and read about that fun night!) Between the vodka drinks and slipping dollar bills into the armbands of the dancing boys, I asked Tracie to share some of her thoughts on what she always looked for when hiring an exotic male dancer. The result is below.

ONE: The first and most important thing before you go any further is, "are they of legal age?" For us it was 21 plus. Of course, proof with ID was required.

TWO: Do they have a clean and neat appearance? Did they arrive for the audition in clean clothes and hair? Do they practice proper hygiene? They must be clean and know how to take care of themselves and their bodies.

THREE: What is their health and fitness level? Beauty does come in all shapes and sizes but you don't want to see someone unhealthy on the stage in their underwear. The dancers are the customer's fantasy. Do they have the appropriate appearance to fit that image?

FOUR: What type of attitude do they bring to the audition/interview? Do they engage you and keep you interested? If they are an 'asshole', it is an immediate turn off. It they are a jerk to me then more than likely they will also be one to the customers. I look for someone who is friendly. They can be cocky and arrogant as long as they don't go too far with it. A little cockiness can sometimes be a turn on. As long as they have the looks and body to back it up. Also, one goal of the exotic male dancer is to help the customer forget their problems while at the club. We all have issues in our lives. The customer shouldn't have to hear about the problems of the male dancer. If a customer has to listen to a dancer's bitching, moaning and groaning, they will stay home and save their $$.

FIVE: I always liked to make my employees feel like a part of a work family. It is important to determine how well a potential dancer will fit in with the current 'family'.

Believe it or not, I never felt it necessary that they be great dancers. They can be taught everything on the stage, pole, etc. One word of advice I gave them and would give to any potential male dancer is use your eyes, "fuck 'em with your eyes without touching them."

A few years ago, a good friend of mine moved near Columbus, Ohio. Up until that time I was not very familiar with the state of Ohio except for passing through on a few road trips, and its reputation for great sports teams.

Like what you see? Well, if you don't live in Ohio. That's ok. These boys like to travel. Of course, you'll need to make it worth their while. You won't be disappointed. Jorden Marlo and Dontae Morningwood were recently down south in Alabama. I'm thinking that both of them must have to order special pants. There's no way that regular pants, right off the rack, will fit around their junk. No way.

There is a small group of male strip clubs that consistently remain at the top of my favorites list. One of them is Swinging Richards in Atlanta, GA. Over the years I have been to this club several times. I have never been disappointed, and each visit seems to be better than the previous one. It is no surprise then, that for my birthday this year, I chose SR as the place I wanted to be to celebrate! I am grateful to three of my best friends who accompanied me for the night. And made sure I got back to the hotel safely!

The club opens at 8:00pm on Friday night. We arrived around 9:30pm before it was crowded so we could get a table near the front stage. Parking is available in a lot connected to the property and costs $5.00 for the night. We paid the $10 cover and entered the world of fantasy. The first stop was the bar where they were running vodka specials for the night. With first drink in hand, I selected a table near the middle of the front stage where I could get a full view of any dancer that stepped up on the stage.

There was one slim, nice looking dancer on the stage as we sat down. Before long the stage had up to four or five dancers at a time. The normal procedure that is followed goes like this...first song - dancers are in clothes, second song - dancers are in their underwear, and the third song - all is revealed. Depending on how well the dancers are being tipped, the clothes may be removed sooner or later.

The night was spent with strong drinks, great conversation, lots of laughter and dollar bills being slipped into arm bands. Since the boys do go fully nude, they wear armbands for tips. Each of us quickly found our favorites. For my partner Jay, he liked Derrick, Angel, Mark and Miller. While seated at our table, Jay also obtained a very much enjoyed lap dance from Mark. Our friend Rob who had met us in Atlanta enjoyed the talents of Ace, Miller, Mayhem, Carter and Brad. Our friend Tracie, a former female dancer and club owner herself, is now a Georgian. She drove from outside Atlanta to meet us. She was partial to Raphael, Justin and Lotto. Thanks for the round of drinks Tracie. I'll buy the first round the next time we're together.

I will admit that I was like a kid in a candy store all night. There were so many sexy dancers that I enjoyed tipping and watching. However, there were three that stood out for me. First, like Tracy, I liked Lotto. Lotto was popular and performed several lap dances at tables around us. He is the choice for the gay men with straight boy fantasies. The ladies loved him, and he loved the ladies. But, he was just as engaging and fun for the gay men as well. For me, he had the best body of the bunch which looked good from all directions. His handsome face and other impressive assets caused me to keep him into view as much as possible.

Second, Justin spent time at our table throughout the night. He was content to just stop by and visit, flirt and check to see if we were still having fun. He wasn't pushy or overbearing. He kept us entertained and of course, we played our part in keeping him around with tips. He performed a lap dance or two at our table.

Without question, my favorite dancer of the night was Jeremiah. He was "fine" from head to toe. The night started with my noticing him at the front stage and tipping him. And I was hooked after that. Great body, great looks, fun personality, and he knows how to give the eye with a sly smile. It just wasn't fair. I had no resistance. But of course, I wasn't trying very hard to resist either.

At different times Rob and I both enjoyed the VIP Lounge. The price is $10 for the evening, and you can come and go as you please. I recommend it. Rob enjoyed a lap dance in the VIP lounge with Carter which he described as "Amazing!". He also enjoyed a lap dance with Brad, a dancer with a sexy nerd look as well. I enjoyed lap dances in the VIP area from three different dancers. Jeremiah, of course, and two different dancers from Cuba. I can't remember their names because at this point, the vodka drinks were doing the talking and not much listening. I do remember having fun though!!! It costs $20 per song in the VIP area, so be sure and let them know how many songs you are wanting.

If you were to ask my com-padres about the ending of the night, they would say that I had abandoned them and disappeared into the VIP Lounge. And if you continue to listen to their story, they will say that they were almost thrown out of the club at closing time while I was no where to be found. They even said my name had been announced over the speaker several times because I needed to close my tab at the bar. Well, I don't remember any of that happening. Of course, it might have been during the time that I was shouting "Viva La Cuba!" in the VIP Lounge.

I recommend that you make Swinging Richards a destination for a vacation, weekend getaway, etc. I know I'll be back. My friends recommend that you spend time with Ace, Derrick and Raphael, among others. I highly recommend some male stripper experiences with Jeremiah.
