    The police officer is always a popular costume. Why does the man wearing this costume raise our blood pressure in the most exciting way? Is it the representation of authority? Is it the man in uniform? Is it the masculine male it symbolizes? It may be a mix of all of it. But one thing is for sure. Wearing this costume is great for go-go boys and male strippers alike. It is perfect for dancing at the club, performing at private parties or doing the strip tease on the stage.

ADDITIONAL IDEA: I spent one Halloween in Salem, MA. There were so many great costumes on display on the street and at the parties. I saw one group that had three male prisoners attached together as a chain gang. In control and holding the end of the chain was a female police officer. Adapt this to fit your group.

THEME NIGHT: A Cops And Robbers Night, Prison Night, Jail Bird Night, Police Academy Night, etc. Have all the male dancers, bartenders and staff members in costume. It could be a mix of both types of costumes: police and prisoners. Females and drag queens can also find or create costumes that fit this theme as well. See below:
   
 
DEPENDING ON THE PARTY: If you are going to a private party and the prisoner needs to be secured in a more erotic way, the harness below is an option you might consider.

It's A Naughty Job But Somebody Has To Do It At Somewhere! Male Stripper Contest - Another Reason To Love Ohio!

 
   My love for the state of Ohio has grown due to the amazing people I have found who work in the exotic male dancer industry or related businesses. I'm talking about people like Johnny Dangerously, Grayson L Knight-lites, Bryan Richardson (a.k.a. Abortia Clinique), Sterling Johnson, Gunner Calvin Scout and many more. I have become acquainted with great people in Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, Toledo, Lima and Akron. The state of Ohio is well represented in my blog readers, Facebook friends, and other social media. For this, I am grateful and have enjoyed getting to know many of you in a small way. Ohio has an amazing talent pool to draw from with just as amazing customers and fans who support them. And I can't speak highly enough about the bars and clubs that continually feature male dancers in their entertainment line ups. Thank you!!!
 
 
    This year I have had the pleasure of getting acquainted with Kody Boggs, or as known on the stage, Redd Velvet. My first notice of Ms Velvet was in 2016 due to a male stripper competition that she hosted at Somewhere Dance & Nightclub in Lima. I was excited to see that someone had come up with the idea of hosting a local male stripper competition. Then followed through with planning, scheduling, promoting and selecting a winner! The name of the Somewhere competition is "The Next Magic Mike Contest". I would love to see this happen in cities across North America. There are many who hosts pageants of one type or another, and these are enjoyed by many customers. But there are very few opportunities that focus specifically on the male stripper. But the contest at Somewhere does, and I am honored to have been invited to be a judge at this year's competition to be held on Friday, October 12. It's a naughty job but somebody has to do it! (Insert **evil grin** here!)

    I recently spoke with Redd Velvet by phone to get all the juicy details about the upcoming competition. I wanted to know why it was started, how it is judged, who can enter, etc., etc... I wanted to know all about it and hopefully those in positions as movers and shakers can help start something similar in their local area. Also, for any male dancers interested in participating, please contact Kody and sign up. The contact information is below. I have condensed and/or edited the content down to 8 questions and answers in order to shorten the blog. It would have been easy for me to write several paragraphs more.
 
Q.1: When and why did you start the Next Magic Mike Contest?
Answer: The Next Magic Mike Contest was started at Somewhere in 2016. It is always held in October and was started as a way to find new talent in order to provide more entertainment variety for the club. I noticed that there were no area contests for just male strippers.
 
Q.2: What are the prizes for the winner and any others in the contest?
Answer: There are three prizes given for the contest. First Place receives $150, and 3 bookings during the next year at $150 (great opportunity)! Second Place receives $75, and 2 bookings at $75. And a third prize is Daddy's Choice which will be given to a favorite of a club patron. The recipient will receive $50.
 
Q.3: Is there an entry fee?
Answer: No.
 
Q.4: Who can be a contestant?
Answer: Anyone. Regular dancers, amateurs and transgender males.
 
Q.5: How does a male stripper sign up for the contest?
Answer: Contact me or one of the other judges. Then the night of the contest bring a flash drive, cell phone, etc., with two of your very best songs. Registration is at 8pm, don't be late, be ready.
 
Q.6: What are the criteria for judging the contestants?
Answer: The contestants are judged on creativity. For example, is there a theme? Are they able to set themselves apart and be different, or think out of the box? This could include things like physical feats such as flips, cartwheels, acrobatics, or even using a stripper pole (which they would need to bring). They are also judged on whether the music they have chosen matches their theme and their look. And then there are the basics such as their appearance. Do they look clean, smell clean...basically, are they presentable, and sexy. And also important is how well do they interact with the crowd.
 
Q.7: How are the judges chosen for the contest?
Answer: The judges are chosen because they are involved in the exotic male dancer entertainment industry in some way. Drag Queens who serve as hosts, or fellow entertainers at shows that feature male strippers are chosen to be judges. Also, show directors who book male strippers. And in your case, a blogger who features exotic male dancers in their blogs.
 
Q.8: How would you recommend a male stripper prepare for the contest?
Answer: Practice on stage, practice at home.... bring "everything" to the stage when they perform. They need to look their best, smell their best. They need to feel they've given all they have when they leave the stage. Show the audience that you have what it takes to be an entertainer. They are welcome to come in early and practice on the stage.

    So folks, that's the meat and potatoes of it! It is truly a naughty job. I will be forced to sit and watch male strippers take their clothes off while moving their tight bodies to seductive music. There will be a moment, or two, or three where I'll have to sit and run my eyes over their scantily clad bodies. It will be tough but I'll have three ladies of the evening there for strength. No, not that kind of lady of the evening. They'll be joining me at the judges table. I'm talking about three amazing entertainers Kandy Warhol, Sabrina Caprice Heartt and Armani Devine.

    As a fair and impartial judge I think it's only right that I tip each contestant. You know, just so I can get up close and personal and check things out. I mean, I want to do a good job at what I've been asked to do. Until next time, don't forget to tip the boys!

The Bulge - Social Media Finds Through September 10 (NSFW)

   As summer begins to fade into Autumn we see the boys of colleges and universities return to school. And many of them are going to need cash to help finance their education. It is recruitment time for exotic male dancers. New faces, new hot bodies, new BULGES and new opportunities for tipping. To get you in the mood and all heated up, I've placed several pics and videos in this blog that I know will do the trick. Enjoy and as always, find your local dick dancer boys and place some dollars in those fantasy waistbands.
 
 
   I would Las Vegas is known for its amazing shows. These are four reasons I would find Thunder an amazing show!
 
 
   There are some things that annoy me when they are 'in my face' but then there are other things that I don't mind at all. I rather hope they'll end up there.
 
 
   I am so happy to see dancers wearing jock straps more often. They frame the ass so nicely! Also, if you are on twitter, follow Philly T. He has been documenting male dancers and others from Southern California for some time now. You will definitely enjoy his work.
 
 
   Phoenix has become one of my favorite cities for exotic male dancers. Charlie's always has hotties dancing in their outdoor patio, and the shower shows are something you'll want to see.
 
 
   When it comes to nightclubs with male dancers, Piranha in Las Vegas is definitely one of the very best! I am in love with Gio! And Alex and Curtis are two others that I favor. Follow Piranha on social media and you owe it to yourself to drop in if you are ever in Vegas.
 
 
   I like the 'HEADliner' from Barcelona, Spain.
 
 
   As I always say, "It's All About The Tease!" However, the reveal is pretty nice too!
 
 
   Willy The Kid is a legend in the world of exotic male dancers. Watch this clip and I think you'll agree. He has the assets and talents to put on quite a show! I'm sure all customers went home happy!

   There are three fantasy scenarios that are actual realities. First, Sin IP is an exotic male dancer. Well, that's no surprise since he is being featured in this blog. The Tip Jar: 8 Tips For Becoming A Successful Exotic Male Dancer

 
   Every year I try to write a blog that gives pointers to the current exotic male dancers on how to be a success. When I speak of success I am mainly talking about financially. These are very simple steps but if followed will have a major impact on a dancer's career whether it be long term or short. Please share this with any male dancers you know. And if you are a male dancer, please let me know what you think about the 8 tips I have presented.

#1 - It's All About The Customer
      An exotic male dancer is an entertainer. He does his job as a go-go boy, male stripper, pole dancer, male review team member, or nude male dancer to provide entertainment to the customer. If an exotic male dancer is there for any other reason, he will never be a success. If he's there to stroke his ego, he won't last. If he's there to get laid, he won't last. If he's there solely for the money, he won't last. If his main focus for being an exotic male dancer is anything other than to entertain the customer, he won't last. I've been in this business for 15 years. I know from experience that this is a truth.

#2 - Good Hygiene is required!
   It doesn't matter how hot a male dancer looks from a distance, if he stinks or his breath can peel the paint off the wall, he will not be a success. Customers like to get close and interact with a male dancer. His body odor can provide an invisible force field that will keep the customers from getting very close, and If they don't get close, then they won't be tipping. If he can singe their eyebrows with his dragon breath, they will stay far away. And if they are far away, they will not be tipping. And if they are not tipping, the male dancer will soon quit because it just isn't worth it without making good money. #3 - A Positive And Pleasant Attitude Is Always Preferred
   Everyone loves a physically built and good looking male dancer. And at first, they may be popular. But if they come in pushing attitude, then it won't be long until they are walking out the door, and asked not to return. You see, the reality is that there are many, many good looking guys around and with a little encouragement, many of them would enjoy becoming a male dancer. So, anyone and everyone is replaceable. And those with negative attitudes are the first to be replaced.

#4 - Professionalism Is More Than A Suggestion
   Mean what you say and say what you mean. If a male dancer agrees to work a specific gig, then he should do everything in his power to fulfill the commitment he has made. We all know that emergencies and the unexpected do come up from time to time. When they do, the professional will call and inform their employer of the situation as soon as possible. There is no room on the stage for those who gain a reputation as a "no show". If it becomes a habit, the calls for gigs will stop coming.

#5 - Welcome New Faces
   I'll admit that this is one of my pet peeves. I am most often the visitor from out-of-town who walks into the club, sometimes for the first time. I have watched as male dancers will stay close to the regulars and often ignore new faces. I have written blogs before about keeping my tip money for the night in my pocket after being ignored. The dancers at the next club were happy about it because they received it. If a male dancer desires to be successful, he will try to be the first one to greet a new customer who walks into the door. Make the best first impression and you'll be on the list of who the visitor from out-of-town is wanting to tip. This visitor could be the one who has a pocket full of cash that he is ready to drop on entertainment. They may be the guy or girl who just moved to the area and will become a regular at the club. Making customers feel welcome whether they are visitors or regulars helps to make the club successful. If the customers return, there will be more tipping opportunities for the dancers. The pic above from Oasis Bar in Sarasota, FL may not be the correct welcoming strategy for everyone but it definitely would work for me!
 
 
 
#6 - The Right Underwear Is Important!
   In most situations involving go-go boys, pole dancers, male strippers, and male reviews, men's underwear is going to play a large part in the costuming for male dancers. It is important to wear of course clean underwear. It is also important to wear underwear that fits well. Baggy is never in. Make sure your underwear is a fun color. I once saw a dancer wearing a flesh colored pair of underwear. It was just weird. From a distance it looked like he was nude and didn't have any genitals. Like I said, it was just weird. Make sure your underwear is not worn out. After it's been washed a few times the colors will fade and the fit will loosen. Replace it when this happens. Select underwear that accentuates your assets. If you're blessed up front, accentuate it. If you're blessed in the back, accentuate. If your blessed in both areas... call me. #7 - It's All About The Tease
   It's ok to 'work' the customers for tips. This involves giving them the eye. Giving them the smile. Show a little skin. Rub your hand across your chest. Give a quick 'grope' to your boys. Flirt a little and let them know you are glad they are there. And you are glad because they are the source of your income for the night.

#8 - Be Grateful!
   Always say thank you for tips large or small. They are handing over their hard earned cash to you. By saying thank you, you are acknowledging that they have contributed to your well-being, and you are giving them some attention which is always welcomed. Put a smile on their face. They will remember you the next time.
