Club Review: Zippers in Dallas, TX

    Zippers is a tradition when it comes to hot male dancers in Dallas, TX. Eye candy at its finest can often be found in this small neighborhood bar. I have visited there several times and have always left with something, or “someone” worth talking about. This visit was no exception. We entered the bar on a recent Friday night. There was no cover. Immediately to our right was a muscled dancer on a corner stage. Looking straight ahead is a long narrow room with a bar down the middle. There are stools around the bar where the patrons sit. At the end of the bar on the right is another corner stage. This one was occupied by two extremely cute dancers with slim defined bodies.

    I ordered a Dos Equis lager from the bartender. The price was $5 and I threw in a $1 tip. We found a seat at the long bar. I sipped the beer as I took in the scenery. There is a wide doorway at the end of the bar that leads to a small room with a stage on the left that wraps around to the back wall. There were two dancers on this stage as well. The first one on the left was wearing a pair of long white shorts. At first I thought this was a little unusual for a stripper. I mean, male strippers usually wear something a little more revealing. It soon became apparent why it was necessary for him to wear the long shorts. Briefs or even regular boxers would not have been long enough to cover what he had been blessed with.

    The second dancer in the room was Cory. Cory was our favorite dancer of the night. Great body, dark hair, handsome face, perfect ass, and a sexy smile. All of that was seductively wrapped inside red bikini briefs with string sides. I must admit that from that point on I spent most of my time watching Cory and little else. A couple of times Cory made eye contact and smiled. After his session he made his way around the room and stopped by where I was sitting. I almost forgot to tip, I was enjoying the view. I also liked Cory because he knows the game. He was entertaining, sexy, and a prime example of the reason we male stripper fans go to bars like Zippers. There was another bar in a back room past the stage where Cory was dancing. We walked back and looked in but didn't stay. I already knew who I wanted to watch.

    I would like to commend Zippers for the music they played at the bar. We have been to bars where the DJ would select music that they may have personally liked but the dancers could not dance to it. The music at Zippers helped create the atmosphere and encourage the dancers to move the way we like to see them move.

    Zippers is a regular stop when we make a trip to Dallas and will remain so. Each time we have visited, the dancers have been different but each time there has always been one or more that we remember and hope to see again. If you are visiting Dallas make Zippers one of your stops. We recommend that you go early. Parking is limited in the area. Club Review: The Tin Room in Dallas, TX

   Hot dancers and a friendly, fun crowd is what you will find at The Tin Room in Dallas, TX. The patrons were a wide-range of ages comprised mostly of men with a few women mixed in. I arrived early in the afternoon on Sunday for reasons I'll explain later. There was no cover for the time I arrived. I sat at the bar and was warmly greeted by Steven, a super nice guy and a great bartender. I ordered a beer and watched a little football on the screen at the bar. (The Dallas Cowboys were playing of course.) I was pleased to discover that the beer and a Jack and Coke that I had later were both priced lower than I have found at many other locations.

   Steven and I chatted for a while and he filled me in on the bar, the dancers, etc. He explained that several of the dancers were at the moment riding on the Pride parade float but would be returning soon. This was not a problem because I turned around to see a dancer named Charlie had already stepped up to a small stage in the middle of the bar. Charlie is a very handsome black guy with a compact, defined body. He speaks volumes with his eyes and has a great smile. So, it wasn't long before I made my way to the little stage and placed a tip in his "fit-just-right-in-all-the-right-places" shorts. He said, "thank you" and I returned to my seat and watched him dance a while. After a few songs and a few tips from other patrons Charlie made his way around the bar and received several more tips. I added a few more dollars myself. I mean, when Charlie flashes that smile of his, well, you just can't help it. If Charlie had been the only dancer for the night, I could have left perfectly content.

   But, Charlie was not the only dancer. There were a total of seven different dancers that appeared during my time at The Tin Room. Most were in their early to mid-20s, fit or defined, and cute as hell. They danced on boxes, small stages, at a pole, and in various places around the bar. You could sit in any location and watch a dancer without any obstructions. They were all very friendly while dancing and when making their way around the room.


   At one point the dancers from the Pride parade float all came in dressed in small, red briefs with the bar's name across the back. There were almost more dancers than customers at the bar.

Yes!!!

   Several of the arriving dancers took turns in the shower stage cooling down and washing up before going out to eat. They wore their shorts in the shower but I have no complaints. Wet underwear can sometimes be even more sexy than letting it all hang out. Dropping by on this particular afternoon well, I'll call that good timing on my part.

   Sometime during my interaction with Charlie, a regular at the bar named Jack took a seat beside me. Jack, or "The Jack" is well-known by many of the staff and customers and turned out to be a colorful character and one of the friendliest people I have ever met. I wound up sitting with him the rest of my visit. If you read this Jack, thanks for helping us have a great time!

   The bar is a no smoking facility but has a patio area in the back where you are allowed to smoke. The patio has sunny areas and shaded covered areas so it is comfortable in any type of weather. It is quiet there as well and I stepped to the patio to speak on the phone a couple of times.

   I chose to visit The Tin Room on Sunday afternoon as an alternative to fighting the crowds who were lined up for the Pride Parade. Also, I had tried to visit The Tin Room on Friday and Saturday nights but it was so busy that parking was almost non-existent unless you wanted to walk several blocks or take a cab. This is not the case all the time although the bar is a popular location, they do have a parking lot and you can park along the street. I recommend that you go a little early and get a parking space in front of the bar, or in front of the business next door (after 6:00 p.m. only). Regardless of where you park, it is worth a visit if you are in the Dallas area.


   The owners of The Tin Room also have a location on Cedar Springs called Drama. I am already planning another trip to Dallas and I will definitely be going to The Tin Room. This time I want to drop by on a Friday or Saturday night. Wait a minute...maybe I'll drop by both nights!!! I hope to visit Drama as well. Until next time... tip the boys a dollar for me!!!

Males Strippers As Sports Stars

   When the young athlete walked into the locker room, I was sitting on a bench getting dressed in the far corner. He stood about 5' 10" with piercing blue eyes, perfect white teeth, and dirty blond hair that dripped of sweat. As he walked, his tanned, muscle-toned body moved with confidence and solid footing. He wore tennis shoes and only a pair of gray gym shorts. The shorts were soaked from sweat starting at the waistband and moving down into his crotch. He sat down at a bench on the opposite side of the room, untied and removed his shoes and socks, then stood back up. With both hands at this side he began to slide down his gym shorts revealing a white jock strap underneath. He removed his shorts and turned with his back toward me. His bubble butt was framed by the straps of the jock. He bent over and placed his shoes, socks and shorts inside a gym bag. Was this show for me? I could only hope. He turned back around and with a quick move pulled his jock off. He was now nude and breath-taking. Mother nature had given him the superior gene pool and through his athletic life-style, he had created a body that even Mount Olympus would notice. He looked in my direction, gave a quick smile, nodded his head, and walked out of the room toward the showers. I looked to the sky and whispered "thank you" to no one in particular.


   The fantasy of the athlete is one that we can enjoy often in the American culture where various sports play a major role in our shared experiences. In the fall we watch football players. In Winter depending on where you live, there is basketball, skiing and hockey. In the Spring there is baseball and track and field. Dispersed at various times throughout the year you can also watch cycling, soccer, gymnastics, swimming and diving. These are but a few. At this point I think it is appropriate to pause and give a loud cheer for spandex uniforms.


   The exotic male dancer as athlete causes us to relive those past fantasies and create new ones. The jock strap has become a must-have for dancers, particularly those who know their ass is what bring in the tips. When a guy disciplines himself and goes to the gym as a part of a regular routine, and builds a great body we are impressed. When the same guy brings that body into our world, and dances, strips, and entertains us, well, we are truly grateful. Get out those dollar bills, boys and girls, and say "thank you" with cash. We always want to encourage those dancers who have built the bodies that we often wish we had!!! Now back away from the french fries, and get to the gym!!! Then send me pics.

Part 2: 10 Steps To Becoming A Successful Exotic Male Dancer

   He was having fun it was obvious. And his fun was contagious. He liked being a male stripper. He enjoyed the crowd watching. And he liked the effect he was having on them. He was tall, sandy brown hair, nice build, firm ass, and good looking. I knew he was the one for a trip to the VIP room. I didn't wait for his sales pitch because I already knew. I told him what I wanted, we paid at the bar and he led me back to the VIP room for my private dance. It was my first trip to a VIP room in a bar, and definitely was not my last. This was at Boxers-N-Briefs near St. Louis several years ago. I won't disclose any details. You need to make that discovery for yourself. I will say that I had a lot of fun and have since enjoyed other such experiences.

6. WATCH THE ESTABLISHED EXOTIC MALE DANCERS

   If you are a good dancer, more opportunities will open up for you. However, if you have the body and the look, you can sometimes get by on that alone. If you become popular with the audience, you will spend a portion of your time dancing and the rest of it receiving tips and talking with fans. I know of dancers who know how to move and are amazing to watch. I have seen dancers who swing on poles and bars and do acrobatic feats. I have also seen dancers who shuffle their feet a little, move around the stage a little, but look so damn good that no one really cares whether they can dance or not. So, you should have an idea where you fit in.

   It also depends on the requirements of the job. We recommend that you know your strengths and make the most of them. Watch the guys who are already dancing. Watch their moves, their interaction with the fans, and how they receive tips, etc. Also, take notice of what they are wearing. Be aware also that not all veteran dancers are focused on customer service. Be sure that customer service is your main focus.


   Dancing in a bar, club or at an event can also be quite different from dancing for private or bachelorette parties. Also, it is different dancing at a full-nude club than a non-nude club. Ask someone who has already been there to give you some tips. Always keep learning and getting better. When you travel and are not working, go to area clubs and watch their dancers. 7. BE PROFESSIONAL

   Like any job, to be a success you need to perform to the best of your ability. This includes showing up when scheduled, arriving on time, giving an enthusiastic performance, and maintaining a professional attitude when interacting with fans, other performers, staff members, club management, etc. Always maintain a positive and friendly attitude. If there is an emergency that will keep you from fulfilling your obligation, call the management and let them know as soon as possible. When given a tip, large or small, always say thank you. Go by the customer's seat after your session and thank them again. They will often tip again when you stop by. Support the bartenders and other staff members when you can. Be a team player. Your positive or negative reputation will follow you around and either open or close other doors of opportunity. Also, the people you work with may get a job at another bar, if a dancer is needed at that location, make sure you are the first name to come to their mind by always helping them be successful at their current job.


8. SEEK OPPORTUNITIES

   The best place to begin working as an exotic male dancer is at the local level. Bars, clubs and agencies are always looking for talented dancers. Many bars and clubs hold weekly amateur or audition nights. Amateur and audition nights are excellent opportunities for introductory experiences of dancing in front of an audience. The amateur nights are usually scheduled on a slower night of the week with a smaller crowd. They are frequently part of a contest with prize money as well. The auditions are sometimes held before opening hours. An agency provides dancers for events, private parties, clubs, etc. You will need to call an agency to request an audition and interview. You might consider inviting them to a bar or club when you are dancing so they can "check you out".

   Wherever you decide to work, ask them what type of pay you will receive. There is a wide variety of payment arrangements for exotic male dancers. Some clubs and bars charge you to dance on their stage. The idea being that you will make enough tip money to cover the charge. And in popular clubs in resort areas or large cities this is usually true. Some locations allow you to dance for tips alone. If you are starting out, the "no pay" to start may be your best or only option. There are also opportunities that pay a certain amount for the event, plus you make tips.


   Regardless of how you receive payment, always be professional. If you do not like the payment arrangement, then do not work there. But whatever you do, do not bad mouth the establishment or agency. Managers at other bars, clubs and events will ask around to find out your work habits, attitude, and professionalism. Your reputation will follow you. And, if you know the payment arrangements up front, and agree to work for the establishment, then you have no reason to complain.

   We must face another truth here as well. There will come a time when your age will decrease your opportunities. Have a backup plan. While a dancer, enjoy it but be planning for the day when you may not be able to make a living as a dancer. Then when your opportunities start to diminish, you can began spending more time in your second vocation.


9. PROMOTE YOURSELF

   When you first start out, concentrate on becoming a good dancer, performer, and entertainer. Once you have gained some experience working at a bar, club or through an agency, begin to promote yourself. If you have a computer and printer, create your own business cards to distribute to the owners and manager of clubs and agencies. There are also websites where you can inexpensively create and purchase business cards. Place a "sexy" picture of yourself on the card if possible. List contact information on the card, email and phone number, facebook page, twitter address, etc. Give these to anyone that might be able to connect you with a job opportunity.

   Unless you sign a contract with an agency, club, or bar that requires that you dance exclusively with them, we recommend that you put the word out that you are available. Make your way around to auditions and amateur nights. Let people know where you dance and when you'll be dancing. Create an online presence through facebook, myspace, twitter, or a personal or other website (or, a combination of all of them). The important thing is to keep everyone informed of where you are going to be performing, and how to contact you for job opportunities.

   If you have the funds, have a professional photographer create a portfolio for you. People will often respond to images more quickly than words. This also means that unless you are an established dancer, never upload photos that do not promote your image. Select pics that promote you as an exotic dancer. This may require that you make two or more separate facebook pages, etc. One can be for your personal and family connections. The other can be for your professional connections.

   If you are able to have someone make a quality video of you while dancing at a club, etc., place it on You Tube and link to it from facebook and other online sites. That is, if you can dance and you look good in the video. A video of you dancing at an event, bar, club or party is best. The video should not be any longer than 3-5 minutes. Be sure and display your contact information on the video.

10. HAVE FUN

   You are performing for the purpose of adding to the fun and excitement that others are having. The people who watch you dance may be there to possibly escape the problems and pressures of their every day lives. You are there to help them live in a fantasy world for a few hours. But, make sure you are having a good time as well. If you are not, you should be doing something else. If you experience burn out from dancing too often, take a break and get away from it for a while. If dancing as an exotic male dancer stops being fun for you, stop dancing and find a vocation that you can be passionate about. Keep in mind that you are providing experiences that the bar patrons will talk about for years and possibly the rest of their lives. Have fun with them. Get involved with their special night. HAVE FUN!!!

10 Steps To Becoming A Successful Exotic Male Dancer

   He stood tall on the box at the bar and moved his lean, athletic body to the music. He was not exceptionally handsome but rather what I would describe as cute. As he danced, he frequently looked my way and made eye contact. Each time this occurred, he gave me that smile. You know that smile I'm talking about. The one that makes the fantasies go off in your head. And of course, I eventually got up and walked over to this hot go-go dancer and began slipping one dollar bills into the waistband of his red bikini briefs. He bent his knees and squatted down to my level, asked me my name, gave me a hug, then a kiss on the cheek, and said thank you. We chatted for a few minutes and I went back to my seat.

   If nothing else had happened that night, I would have marked it up as a good night simply for this one experience. He knew why he was there, what his job should be, and how to carry it out. I was the customer and he provided the customer service that I had entered the bar to receive. I would now be going home remembering him and hoping that the next time I entered this bar that he would be dancing. A successful exotic male dancer is first and foremost focused on customer service. If the bar or club patrons are having a good time, then the financial rewards (tips) will follow. There are things that the beginning dancer can do to help prepare themselves for customer service. If you are experienced, please review these steps as well to see how you are doing. We will deal with each one individually in later blogs but for now here is an overview of what Males In Motion considers ten important characteristics for successful exotic male dancers to possess.

1. EVALUATE YOUR LOOK
   The fans come to SEE dancers because they perceive them to be 'hot and sexy'. This does not mean that all dancers must have the perfect body with a strikingly handsome face. If you do, then you will have more opportunities for dancing jobs. Our "ideal" exotic male dancer would be handsome, muscular, or lean without being too skinny, and fill out their briefs nicely. There are opportunities for those who may not fit the mold of the adonis male. For example, there are "bear" clubs that like big, harry men and have dancers that reflect their desires. Different women are turned on by different types of men. They enjoy personal attention. There are clubs where the patrons like "twinks" or the young, slim guys. And there are bars where muscled or leather guys are dancers. Be honest with yourself. Do you have the looks and body to be an exotic male dancer? If not, is it possible to work out and build a more marketable look for yourself? Also, ask yourself if you are comfortable enough with your body to stand in front of a crowd of people wearing little or no clothing.

2. EVALUATE YOUR PERSONALITY
   Do you have the ability to communicate with all types of people regardless of size, shape, ethnicity or sexual orientation? If not, you may still be able to be an exotic male dancer, however, your opportunities will be fewer. Be honest with yourself. Determine the types of people that you can make a connection with and dance in front of while being almost naked, or completely nude. Keep in mind two major points: First, you will be physically touched by many people while they tip you, or because they want to see how far they can go. How will you react? Of course, there are boundaries and you are allowed to set your boundaries as to what type of touching you will allow. If a guest oversteps your boundaries, inform them of the club's policy, state laws, or kindly let them know that what they are attempting to do is not allowed. Second, remember you are a salesman. You are selling a fantasy experience, providing "eye-candy" for the bar or club patrons. It helps to be a bit of a charmer, and you must be an exhibitionist at heart.

NOTE: If you do not already know them, ask the event, bar or club manager what the state laws are concerning physical interaction with the audience. Each venue should already have that information available to you before you dance. The event, bar or club may also have their own policies.



3. LEARN TO DRESS AND UNDRESS
   
As mentioned before, you are a salesman providing a fantasy experience. If you are able to dress the part and wear the underwear, shorts, costumes, etc., that fit the theme of the club night or event, then you will have more opportunities to work. If you are an exotic male stripper and can develop the art of seduction as you remove articles of clothing, the fans will remember you. You will make more in tips. And you will be asked to work again by the bar, club or event managers. You have been hired to add to the atmosphere of the bar or club. Or you may be the featured event of the night. Do your part to make the experience positive for the fan, the management, and for yourself. Remember what you wear when you receive more in tips. What you wear may provide the incentive for that audience member to walk your way and tip you. If you are a male stripper, think about what you are doing as you remove pieces of clothing. You are performing a "strip tease". You are teasing the customers. Take your time and make it a game. This will be fun for you and the potential tippers as well.

NOTE: Each state has their own laws concerning public nudity. Ask the event, bar or club manager before you dance. The venue may have their own policies as well. Many states require certain body parts to be covered. If the state allows nudity, there may be a proximity statute as well. For example, in Nashville when the dancers at Club Arrow are nude while on stage, they have to remain three feet away from the audience.

4. BE A SALESMAN
   Being an exotic male dancer is a job! And this job has a few specific requirements if you are wanting to be successful. You are selling the fantasy experience to the bar, club or event participants. It is your responsibility to do what you can to make their experience fun and exciting, and to encourage them to return for a future event. This includes creating a desire to return to watch you dance. The result will be more tips for you and more financial success for the bar or club. Become an asset for the bar, club or event by providing the best customer service. Of course, make sure the customer service you provide is legal and ethical. Eye contact is important. Look them in the eye and give them that look...you know what look we mean. And don't forget to smile. Whenever anyone tips you, always say thank you.

5. CONSIDER YOUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS
   As an exotic male dancer you become the object of desire for many fans. This means you may be receiving a lot of attention. How will this affect your personal relationships? Do you have a significant other that will be able to emotionally handle other people giving you a lot of attention? We recommend that you discuss the job, the fans, the situation, etc., with them so that they are aware of what all is involved. Then it is your responsibility to reassure them of your commitment to them. Of course, do not go overboard with this, because they might get the idea that you have something to hide.

   In some social situations the job of being an exotic male dancer has a negative stigma attached to it. Some of your friends or family may not approve and will let you know it. Do you have the confidence in yourself to rise above criticism and perform to the best of your ability? There are also fans who will make the incorrect assumption that with a little encouragement, usually of a financial nature, you will be willing to perform the role of a prostitute. A situation could arise that will require you to make it clear that you are an exotic male dancer and entertainer only. There are some exotic male dancers who are also escorts and porn stars. If your career includes other activities of a sexual nature, you will need to determine where, when and with who those activities will occur and make sure that it is clear with the bar, club or event audience members.

Club Review: All Nude Arrow Club (Nashville, TN) (Closed...see update at end of blog)

   The "full-package", that is what we are calling our latest favorite exotic male dancer, Jonas, from Arrow Club in Nashville, TN. First of all, the guy really can dance. Then add to that, he has a body that is in top physical condition. He has been blessed with all the right assets that we as fans go to full-nude male strip clubs to see. Let's face it ladies and gentlemen, Jonas is hot! He looks good in everything he puts on...and takes off! Jonas has fine-tuned the art of seduction on the stage and when backed with his gymnastic abilities, or talent with the pole (pun intended), he keeps your attention while your stack of $1 bills keeps getting lower and lower. And yes, he does have a "full-package".

   The true nature of a good male strip club can be found on "off-nights" or nights other than Friday or Saturday. On weekend nights there is usually a much larger crowd and as a result more tips for the dancers, bartenders, dj's and staff members. It would seem to be easier for performers and staff to be more 'up' for the weekend nights and understandably, they put more into those nights. On non-weekend nights such as Thursdays you can often catch a club a little off of there normal game... BUT NOT AT THE ARROW CLUB in Nashville, TN. These guys were full on, hot, and put on a great show!

   As everyone knows, many clubs do not really hit their groove until around 9:00 p.m. at the earliest, and most are even later. Club Arrow opens at 6:00 p.m. and as you might guess the dancers have a little down time before the audience begins to build. We arrived at about 7:00 p.m. and were greeted at the door by a dancer who goes by the name of Slayde. He was tall and tan with longish blond hair. (More about Slayde later). This was a great start for the night. Those of you that follow my blogs and reviews know that being greeted when entering the door is one of my pet peeves. So, I checked that off the list and entered the door feeling welcomed and ready to enjoy the show. Thanks Slayde, it makes a difference! We walked to the bar and paid our cover to Tim, the assistant manager. Tim is a gentleman and welcomed us warmly. He answered any questions we had and gave us the information we needed for a successful visit. Thanks Tim for making us feel at home.

   There were seven different dancers that performed during the 3 1/2 hours that we were at the club. Each would enter the stage and be introduced by the DJ. Their session usually lasted through two songs. The stage is similar to a fashion runway with a dancer pole at the end. We took our place right at the end of the runway and just below the pole. Ahum, yes, well...continuing...The small table and seats were comfortable and provided a great view. When we arrived we were the only guests in the club. I want to point out that at many of the clubs we have been to, they wait until a crowd has gathered before the dancers begin to start their sessions on the stage. However, at Arrow Club within the first 30 minutes after our arrival, the dancers began their sessions. This meant that at first, they were dancing only for us. I of course, had no problem with that arrangement. They gave us a quality show even though we were the only patrons in the club. In our opinion that is total professionalism. Please do not get the idea that the club remained a ghost town though, because other guests, both female and male, did arrive as the show continued.

   As stated at the beginning our favorite dancer was Jonas. for us, he is enough of a reason to return to the club, but there were other dancers worth mentioning as well. Slayde, who greeted us at the door, is very talented. He draws you in with a lot of eye contact, and a sly smile on his handsome face. And, he was equally "equipped" for the task as Jonas. He was also a favorite of the ladies but played well both to the ladies and the men in the crowd. Slayde has the ability to move his tall, slim, swimmer's build body in a very sensual way that was enjoyed by all. I like Slayde because he knows the game. He knows how to push buttons with moves, looks, and smiles. He is a lot of fun to watch. And it doesn't hurt that in one session he wore a cowboy hat.     Colt, a new dancer, could have been that football linebacker in college that always caught your eye. He was stockier than most of the others, very friendly, and extremely cute. I noticed some of the ladies enjoying a little more personal attention from Colt with a lap dance or two. Colt dropped by our table earlier in the night for a chat. Yes, he was working us for a trip to the VIP room, but hey, that is the game. He gives me some personal attention and I tip while he is dancing. In many clubs the dancers can be pushy and aggressive when working the crowd for lap dances, etc., but Colt chatted, made his case, and then left it up to us if we wanted to enjoy his talents in a more personal way later. I like this approach.
   Casper has a face that can only be described as beautiful, eyes that will make you melt, a well-defined chest and abs, and one of those asses that all you can do is say "dayum". His sneak-a-peek strip style was hot and definitely kept you wanting more. We hope to have a little more personal time with Casper on our next visit.

   We recommend Arrow Club to all our readers, male and female. The club is a lot of fun on any night as we proved. If you are a female and an aficianado of large male endowments, or if you are what the gay community refers to as a "size queen", well, have no fear. Arrow Club delivers with each and every dancer. You will not only enjoy the full view, but might even be slightly impressed. We will return to Arrow Club and hopefully soon. We hope to catch some of the dancers that did not perform the night we were there, and of course, return for Jonas.

   NOTE: For first-timers to the club. The dancers while nude and dancing on the stage have to remain three feet away from the fans. The stage is designed to make this convenient. If the dancer is still in underwear, and close, you can tuck your tip, and we did. If he is nude, toss your money toward the stage and he will gather it up when he has completed his session. Also, buy a little extra to drink, I can guarantee that you will wind up staying longer than you originally planned. So, be sure you have enough to drink for the night. Arrow Club is a BYOB (Bring Your Own BOOZE) club. You pay a fee for bringing the beer, wine, etc., into the club. And for those of you worrying that it may cost too much, we found that buying the liquor ourself, paying the fee, and tipping the bartender who helped us with glasses and ice was no more expensive than drinking the same amount in a non-BYOB club. The night we were there we paid a $10 cover charge as well. This is an average amount around the country for full-nude clubs. We have never paid less, but have often paid even more.

   If you are in the Nashville, TN area or planning a trip to the city, you owe it to yourself to drop in at Arrow Club to see the boys. It is a destination all in itself. Male Strippers As Firemen

   The tall, broad-shouldered, handsome, dirty-faced fireman emerges through the flames of the burning building as smoke billows out the door and windows. He is carrying a victim to safety, and of course, in our minds we are the victim and the fireman has come to our rescue. Then he takes his coat and shirt off leaving him bare-chested except for the suspenders...then I push the suspenders off his shoulders and oops, there go his pants. And it's amazing how many firemen wear red thongs, and...Well, that's my fantasy anyway.


   The sexual innuendo explodes when you discuss the exotic male dancer dressed as the fireman. We've all heard about the fireman's big hose, or how he slides down a pole. And over the years slang expressions related to fire, like smokin' and hot, have made their way into our common language as well. "I'm on fire and whoever can I find to put me out." (For the most dramatic effect, reread that quote with a southern accent while sipping a mint julep and sitting in a front-porch swing.)


   Behind every comment said in jest lies a kernel of truth. That tells me that we do enjoy men who have big hoses, and slide down poles. Well, on the pole part, some of our readers are more interested than others. For the women and straight guys, we recognize that you have pole parties of your own making. However, one thing that we can definitely agree on is that a hot man wearing a fireman's suit raises our internal temperature. Ask the opinion of those with a rubber fetish and I am confident they will join our fire brigade as well.


   Being on fire is an urgent matter even if the flames are emotionally charged with lust rather than those that leave burns on our skin. The exotic male dancer who walks on stage wearing the fireman's helmet and outfit immediately finds his place in our "hottest" daydream. Add flashing lights, some theater smoke, and the stage is set for a line of fans waving dollar bills hoping to ignite a little spark through strategic placement of tip money.
